NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY
Too expensive for the overall service you get. Gym has broken machines and a few weights and they still advertise it. They let people smokes cigars during kids events in LA CASONA. Same menu every night, unhealthy and poor menu selections. Not activities in the resort.

Overcrowded
Overcrowded. There’s only one restaurant and there aren’t enough tables. You have to stand in line for a table. Stand in line for the buffet. Stand in line for a cocktail. I decided to leave for lunch. They wanted me to stand in line for a pass to leave. I wasn’t going to do that. We packed our bags and left. I prepaid for 3 days and left after one night.

Not the place we remember it to be
My wife and I have not been here in about 7 years and we can honestly say that it has lost alot in service and quality. It just isnt the same anymore and quite frankly, for the price per night we expected a better experience. We will not be going back.

Do not go, Terrible.
Do not go to Montelimar. The Hotel has been aging and no money has been invested in at least 10 years. The food is terrible, the staff is un-professional, the beach is dirty, the experience overall is terrible. This hotel should not be under Barcelo, its a shame that they dont care to fix any of the issues i saw on my previous visit.

Family Friendly, Beautiful Beaches
This was a great place to take your family. I saw many families with various ages. There is plenty to see and do. We never lacked for anything. My only nuisance was that the air conditioning unit was labeled differently than expected, almost backwards? Once we figured that out, it worked great!! We slept very well. Our friends expressed the same challenge with the label. It's also a learning curve on the hot/cold water dials, but other than that, wonderful!!
