Would definitely recommend! Stunning beach, pool, people.. the areas never felt crowded. Our room was clean and big for family of 4. We each got our own beds. Food was great.. no one in our family stay of 8 people had stomach issues or problems. The hotel is simply STUNNING

I have only good to say about barcello maya palace. Food available at all times. Many things to do. Great pool. We'll kept grounds and pool.

Chill Vacation
Will certainly visit again in the future with friends/family. Lots of children which they cater to. lots of muti-generational families which was nice to see.

Chose this resort to have our wedding celebration with 14 other family and friends. Beautiful grounds and location. Food very good with plenty of selection. Overall we had a good time. Unfortunately, a few of us came down with gastro issues for about 4 out of our 7 days there. We had a premium oceanfront room which was nice. Our main issues were that our bed was super hard so we requested a mattress topper 3 separate times and not one staff actually helped. Nothing was ever done about it so we had to endure back, hip and shoulder pain for our entire trip. We even spoke with a manager who also did nothing despite promising to get us a topper. The other issue was we only ever had our mini bar restocked 3 times, despite asking daily. Also, pool was freezing. Very few people were ever even in it. Doubt we will return.

Amazing staff
Lovely staff, very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful property, fun activities and lots of room to stretch out.
