Snorkelling excellent and something for everyone.
The resort is one of the older properties. The bathroom needs a refresh badly. The tub, sink and fixtures are showing their age. Albeit very clean and all in working order, they are looking tired. The step up into the tub is very high. There is no lotion provided and the shampoo/conditioner are not great. Mini bar contains 4 Heineken, Tecate, Pepsi products and water. The mattress on our king bed was comfortable, excellent linens but the pillows are absolutely terrible. Both are flat and even stacked one on top of the other barely make 1 normal pillow…bring your own. Caribe Buffet…excellent. It flows really well without too much congestion at the food stations. It’s a buffet. There’s always something for everyone. Be mindful of filling your plate and food wastage. You can try and then go back for more if you like it. Food safety was very good, i was watching. We has no tummy issues at all. The beach entry in front of The Beach property is a bit shelled and there are hidden rocks, water shoes would make it easier for sure. The beach is long and fairly flat. It’s really beautiful and the water is shallow to walk out far. We felt safe swimming. The best beach entry is in front of the Jaguar statue on the Tropical side. Secure chairs before 8:30. The snorkelling is excellent and worth hauling your own gear. We snorkelled almost every day and saw several fish and turtles. The entire property is large and worth exploring to find your favourite places. There is a bus service that takes you between the properties if you’ve had your fill of steps. The setup is really good for families with lots of activities for the kids. Also a Mall on site with lots of vendors and decent prices. They are not aggressive and very negotiable. It’s worth checking out versus an overpriced taxi ride to Puerto Aventuras.

Enjoyed the Spanish lesson with Fany!
Facilities are clean and safe. Staff is nice and attentive. Plenty of things to do. Enjoyed the mini Spanish lesson with Stephanie. My only complaint is the food. However, marginal food seems to be the status quo for all inclusive resorts. .

Would not go back
Food was not good , very little selection. Restaurants were too strict on shoe wear, sandals not allowed and service is refused if you wear sandals. Too much walking if you have an ocean view room. Bathrooms are terrible in a premium room. Patio doors very heavy and difficult to close. Beverages not great. All kids activities are at an extra cost. Too far from cancun airport. We had a transfer booked and took 3 hrs to get to airport after many stops.

Best resort in mexico
Super super duper fun, Jesus from the entertainment team is the best, the whole crew made it fun for the whole week, Carlos at the caribe pool bar was the best barman and Alan at the Capitan Morgan restaurant was by far the biggest vibe in there!!! Coming back next year
