This resort was recommended by my co-worker that has been to this resort several times. This resort along with the 3 other resorts that you have access to(Caribe, Colonial & Tropical)did not disappoint. Maya Beach has the most beautiful beaches that I have been too as well Pools were serene, beautiful and vast. A la Carts were all very delicious and all had great variety in their menus that could satisfy your palate. Be prepared to get your steps in as the resort is large to get around but is well worth the effort at this beautiful consortium of resorts and the best part of this resort are the beaches and the back drop to the crystal clear waters to soak and swim in. The week went by fast and was well enjoyed by our family Thank you J & A Burke

Great place! will be back:)
We enjoyed our stay here! The pool activities were a blast and we loved the shows. Be sure to book your dinner reservations right when you check in, we had 4 but only could use 3 due to how fast they filled up. Amazingly friendly staff!!

Resort is well maintained, the beach is beautiful, we were a little disappointed with the a la carte restaurant bookings and water sport bookings, we were told some restaurants were fully booked for our entire stay, water sport activities would fill up in the first 30 mins of the counter opening, Barcelo needs to accommodate its guest considering it’s huge of a property they need to have/ make more slots available for reservations.

Barcelo Maya Beach
We were a little bit disappointed. We’ve had a very nice experience in April at Tropical and we decided to go back and try another of the hotels but the service in general was disappointing. Maybe October is not a good time for this all inclusive resort

We had an amazing time at Maya Beach Barcelo! The resort is beautiful — the beach is stunning, the water crystal clear, and the atmosphere so relaxing. There are plenty of fun activities during the day, from beach volleyball to water sports, and the entertainment team always keeps everyone engaged. The food was excellent with so many options to choose from. You can enjoy up to four à la carte restaurants (some are paid), each offering delicious dishes and great service. The buffet was also fantastic, always fresh and varied. What makes this resort even more special is everything you can find right on the premises — there’s a casino, a shopping mall, bowling (paid), and even a charming Mexican plaza to stroll around in the evening. The staff were all so kind and helpful, always with a smile. It’s the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and great value. Highly recommend Maya Beach Barcelo for an unforgettable beach vacation!
