  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Two-Week Stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda We have just returned from a truly wonderful two-week stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and well-maintained the grounds are – everything is immaculate, creating a peaceful and tropical atmosphere throughout the resort. The staff deserve the highest praise. Every single member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A special mention must go to Alexis from the pool bar team, whose warmth, attentiveness, and energy made each day by the pool even more enjoyable. He's a real credit to the resort. Thank you so much for our gifts. 🥰 Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The housekeeping team kept everything perfect throughout our holiday. The dining experience was another highlight. The food was consistently excellent, with plenty of variety and high-quality options at every meal. Both the buffets and à la carte restaurants delivered great choices, making every mealtime something to look forward to. In short, we cannot find a single fault with our experience. Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday, which is why we have already booked for next year. 🥰

  Virtually perfect

  Been Dominican 4 times now this hotel by far the best the food amazing especially a la carte try them you won’t be disappointed a special shout out to Alexas at the main pool bar in Esmeralda looked after us throughout the holiday Seaweed been an issue ball along the coast but Bahia tried the best and succeeded to keep the beach clear a lot better than hotel close by on same beach

  A Trip to remember!

  I’ve been a fan of the Bahia Properties for several years, my first time at Esmeralda, Sept 1-8, with my daughters and sister in law. I can’t say enough about the staff at this resort, from the upgrade of the rooms, to making sure those of us with mobility issues had the best possible location ( thanks Johan and Wilmer) The concierge between building 90-91 was a blessing ( especially Alfredo and Wilmer), my daughters were at the other end the buildings from me, I was relieved to know the amazing people at the concierge were there for anything they needed. Rooms were spacious and very clean. I left a note, with my daily tip and some chocolate lol) with any towels or facecloths I needed, and my requests were always fulfilled! Thank you Jennifer! Be careful at the poolbar, they do NOT skimp on the alcohol lol, the whole atmosphere was a blast! There’s a quieter pool at the other end if you’re not into the music and entertainment. Ala Cartes, Yurta, Limbo and MEAT are a Must! I didn’t do Portofino this trip, but that also is amazing! There are a few of the Ala cartes that were not favorite, though all had some dishes that were very good, everyone’s taste is different. The beach buffet was the only one open, amazingly good, and again, the servers were so accommodating and friendly. I’ve read some reviews before I came that sound like they were at a completely different resort, I absolutely loved Esmeralda! Planning my next trip already for spring.

  Our first time in Dominican Republic. Loved Esmeralda and will be back! Amazing resort.

  After many summers in Bahia principe in Mexico we decided to try a new country this year and stay loyal to Bahia! Bahia Esmeralda did not disappoint and we are in love and planning another return. We prefer it to Mexico! We were dropped off at Fantasia and picked up and taken to Esmeralda - we swiftly checked in, were offered welcome drink and cold flannel to refresh. Very helpful staff at the lobby. We were checked in by ALEXA who was very helpful throughout the stay. Room Amazing! Modern, very spacious and we loved the bathroom - shower and also jet bath my son enjoyed every night! We were in room 91219 overlooking the lobby and pool, great views from up there and lovely sea view. Mini bar restocked daily - 2 beers, bottles of water, Pepsi, “Fanta”, carton of juice and chocolate milk / milk, peanuts. They were very generous and would always refill kids choc milk, tea and coffee. Food We booked 13 al carte restaurants for our 14 night stay, on our first night we ate at the Caicu buffet by the beach. The al carte are great - we went to Yurta 3 times (loved the scallops there), Indian twice. Italian - twice as well and RONALDO and his team were fab in there, so welcoming! Great food too. We also went to Taino twice - I loved the octopus there! Son and hubby enjoyed steak. We ask tried Brazilian once and ale Mashua restaurant. Takara - oriental restaurant in Bahia Turquesa was lovely! You also have the food truck, lunch buffet, sports bar is great for food - kids loved mozzarella sticks and chicken strips! Drinks Good selection of cocktails! I like cocktails in the spots bar and al carte restaurants - Espresso martini was great! Drink service by the pool and beach, good beach bar also available. So many options to choose from! Entertainment So much going on in this resort - we enjoyed some shows in Esmeralda, went on evening cart rides to another resort to watch a show - Bahia Punta Cana, Turquesa. We also went to the Village to look around the shops. Good shows in Esmeralda - fire show was great, violin player etc, beach show, magic show… We initially stayed by Punta Cana main pool as it is very close, but it gets very busy there and we preferred Esmeralda pools and beach as it feels more exclusive, is not crowded, no fights about sunloungers and there was a better atmosphere. There was not a moment of boredom! Foam party, various activities and games. Great entertainment team! My kids are 10&13 so cannot comment on kids club but saw many happy children being looked after! We loved making souvenirs - they have sessions for children and also adults- jewellery making, pottery making etc. Beach Oh my! Long stretch of beach, warm wavy sea and white sand! We prefer the beach to Mexican resorts. Good staff on the beach - drinks, looking after sunloungers, one of the staff brushed off sand off our sandals and feet as well! We spent every day in between pool and beach and usually stayed until just before dinner. The whole resort feels very safe! We never had to worry about our belongings. Staff The most wonderful staff work here! They work so hard and nothing is an issue. They made us feel very welcome and also safe. There is a great banter between staff and lots of laughter! Please tip when you can, they work so hard! Nothing is a problem, I spoke with lobby staff numerous time and they always helped, even at 2.30am one morning when I needed some health advice. There is so much I could write on here! This resort is brilliant and we will return next year! Esmeralda is very special, you will have the best time!

  Excellent stay! Will visit again 😀

  Great resort with many amenities. Excellent service and everyone is genuinely nice and wanting to help. Kids love the kids club and the water park. We loved the breakfast buffet the most but all the buffets were amazing with variety of food for all. We even had butter paneer as an option for one of the night!!!
