Don’t hesitate , go to paradise!
What a great place. The resort is beautiful and huge. The staff were consistently wonderful and the food was impressive. The privilege club perks made us feel like luxury travelers and the efforts to please went above and beyond. I know everyone loves their bartender but, special shout out to Maritza in the club bar at Tulum. She is a wonderful person and a pleasure to interact with every time. Plus…she does make some great drinks! Max the office there was super great helping me navigate through all the benefits I did not know I had. Everything about the resort was great, with the only exception being the beach is not super swimmable. But, you can’t really change that. We had talked friends into joining us and the were amazed also. Already planning a trip back next year!

Worse resort we have even been too
Stay away & don’t waste your money! We stayed here in December 2025 along with 4 other family members. Let me get into it. Upon arrival, we upgraded our room to have a better renovated room. The rooms are smallest room i have ever seen. Not even enough space for clothes and not to mention, bugs everywhere. When we complain they moved up to bigger room. Issues: the safe broke down almost daily and had to wait for someone to fix. The tvs did not work. Service time, toke forever. Food: awful, one buffet with same food over and over agin no change for the 7 days we were there. Worse, entire family got food poisoning. The restaurants, we were told needed to reserve two weeks in advance, i mean whaaaat? Service was awful…. We are back home and still sick from food poisoning. Pools: not sure why but the water was cold. We have never been to a resort where the pool water was colder than ocean… The resort, was a ghost town until a few days before holidays. Entertainment: 0 , i mean nothing… We have been to many Bahia resorts many times and this one is incredibly awful. The gust service did not care at all when we told them family got food poisoning and it wasn’t just us, many people seems to be sick including other family member of us. I can go on and on, all i have to say, don’t believe the picture not worth the money!

Great for families and large groups, but there are few things to know beforehand!
Our overall experience was fantastic. The kids spent hours in the pool and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was average. Some in our group loved it and some didn't, so it all comes down to personal preferences. We tried 3 a la carte restaurants and they were nice, but not necessarily must dos. We were a very large group travelling together and even though travel agents and us individually contacted the resort to request us being roomed close together, that absolutely didn't happen for the majority of us, we were all very spread out. The one reservation we specifically requested to be near was my mother and father-in-law as they needed assistance to navigate the resort. Unfortunately, we were placed on opposite ends of the resort from each other. Luckily, another member of our party was on the same side of the resort and was able to assist us, as it was a 10+ minute walk between the 2 rooms. Our group had all different room categories booked and apparently, only certain buildings have specific room categories, so it just wasn't possible to have our 2 room categories near each other (we have 2 adults / 2 kids, they had 2 adults) at the resort. This is partly on us, since if we would have known that in advance (via our travel agent or the resort when we reached out), we would have worked with the resort to make sure that it was even possible to have our room categories near each other, or at least on the same side of the resort. However, that wasn't presented as an option at check-in either, so lesson learned and a warning for other large groups travelling there together! 2 Bedroom Suites and the 2 person suites can be near together, but if you're getting a room with a king and a pull out couch for 4 people, you're likely to be on the opposite side of the resort!! Our other issue was in our room category (Junior Suite - 1 king bed, 1 pull out couch) there isn't a separate washroom. There is a toilet closet, but it and the shower have reflective glass doors, which means that under specific lighting, you can see through the doors and can always see the person's shadow, especially in the shower since it has a glass block window. Since there is no privacy coming out of the shower, and nowhere to place the towel and keep it dry within the shower, it was an awkward situation when my teen daughter wanted to shower. It was a really nice looking room, but the layout of the shower left things to be desired. We made it work, but it was odd enough we'd request a different class of room if we ever go back. Other room categories did not have this. Overall, it was a great relaxing stay! We made the room situation work and my kids enjoyed the shuttle rides all over the resort.

Terrible.
My experience was awful. This resort NEEDS a LOT of maintenance. Locks on doors, water pressure. It goes on and on. Please take your time and shop around.

Would come back!
The resort was clean and expansive. There were 9 of us (2 yr old, 8 yr old plus 7 adults). Service was excellent and pool options were great. We loved the quiet pool the best. Beach was fantastic, just look out for the rocks! Food truck has the absolute best food — the Al pastor tacos and buffalo chicken wings gave us life! We ate them 4/7 days. The lunch buffet wasn’t our favourite but the al la carte restaurants made up for it. The Indian restaurant was our favourite.
