  Family Vacation

  This was our 2nd trip down in the past 3 years to Tulum, and it was awesome. Family vacation age range from 3 months to 74 years. was able to get restaurants / table seating for 12 most nights. they really tried to accommodate us and the lobby bar evening service was great. Pillows were great and the beds comfortable.

  Bahia Príncipe, We Love You!

  I have recently returned from a vacation here. I am from UK and I visited with my parents. This was our 10th stay at this resort. This is an honest review of our experience this time. Entertainment- The entertainment team at Tulum are the best of the best. Milton is a star and he really cares about guest happiness. He is excellent. Erick, Job, Edgar, Alejandro, JeanPaolo and Cit are incredible and deserve high praise. The daytime activities are great and there is something for everyone. Origin show and Fiesta Mexicanna are fantastic and should never change. The other evening shows (Urban, Back to the 80s and Rock show) need to change. They have been the same for many years. Returning guests need to see some new shows. We loved Karaoke night and Trivia night. We would like more Karaoke and more Trivia. Food- There is something for everyone. The Yukatan Buffet has a great selection. Francisco and Margarita were excellent servers at breakfast and lunch. They are the best servers. The service at dinner at the Yukatan Buffet was not great. There were not enough servers. The Truck and Andale Burger are great and Tequila restaurant is the best a la carte. Room- We stayed in a premium ocean front room and it was perfect. Our maid, Blanca, kept it beautiful for us and we had everything we needed. Grounds- The hotel is gorgeous and the staff take great care of it. We love the wildlife and it is very peaceful. Staff were constantly cleaning and fixing things. Guest Care- Bahía Príncipe Grand Tulum takes great care of its customers and this is why we always return. The staff really care about your vacation and want to help. Fernando from Guest Services is outstanding and an excellent representative of the company. The luggage service is fantastic and Ariel and Karen by the main pool and pool bar were very friendly. Negative- There were still people smoking around the pool, in the chairs at the terrace and even around the lobby bar. Staff saw guests smoking and did nothing about it. This was a problem last year and nothing has changed. This is disappointing. I know some people don’t mind smoking but I thought it was illegal to smoke in public areas in Mexico. More signs around the resort would help people remember not to smoke. Overall- We absolutely love this resort. We are treated like royalty when we stay here and it holds a very special place in our hearts. Thank you Bahía Príncipe, we love you and we will come back!

  Skip it!

  Grossly over priced for what you actually received. The food and quality of the rooms were below standard. I have experienced many AL across the globe and this is the poorest. The main buffet area was often short of food and what was presented looked like it was made for workers, not for families who have invested a lot of money to have a quality vacation. The most basic items, mac and cheese for kids - that was not mac and cheese at all - was unavailable. Wait for pancakes and waffles in the morning as they were out. And the drinks - they were beyond lacking. Anything that was not watered down, was an upcharge. It was really unbelievable what they up charged, which proved that they only offered the below shelf options. And the rooms.... They called a one-bedroom with a pullout sofa a 2-bedroom. The showers leaked. No towels, and fixtures that hung off the walls with no protection round them. This place was a huge disappointment. But the food was the worse part - it was just terrible. Lack of options - lack of quality - lack of taste.. and this is Mexico! Very very disappointing. Did I mention the price??? Please go elsewhere.

  Breathtaking

  Great and highly recommended resort. Lots of activities and awesome highly rated night entertainment. Staff is amazing, buffet restaurant is very good and quite a big variety in selection of dishes. Special thanks to zcarlos, the manager, for accommodating us with last minute changes with the A La Carte restaurants, kudos to you my friend. Servers are always there to cater and the tequila and mezcal were amazing thanks to Jesus and a few more waiters who I don't remember their names. Pool activities were quite entertaining thanks to the wonderful and beautiful leader. Overall, this is a vacation getaway you will remember forever.

  Worst service and experience I have ever had. We are an easy going family with little to complain about. This scarred us

  This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in an all inclusive hotel. We got locked out of our room which was a mile away (key card never done correctly), only 2 pillows and 2 towels available, the shower ceiling fell on my wife, more…..
