  Book at your own risk. This hotel was an extreme sport.

  Planned a special 50th birthday trip with adult family. In total we were a group of 22 people. Initially all was well when we checked in and then we noticed construction works right outside our rooms. We were unaware of this until our arrival. We had not been advised of this. A large pipe was being laid. This resulted in an awful stench that permeated through toniur rooms which became exceptionally worse when our air conditioning was on. Then things got worse. On the first night, 2 of our rooms had cockroaches and we had to be moved. During the rest of our holiday, all 11 rooms had roaches at different points and we all had to be moved a minimum of twice during this time. Hotel staff fluctuated between disbelief and being helpful. However many times we were told that the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. The rooms were basic, definitely not 5*, probably more of 2*, communal areas pushed it up to a basic 4*. TUI service and support was non-existent and app support was a joke. Two rooms were flooded as there was a leak, 4 of our rooms had bed bugs and on top of that, the bathrooms were falling apart. Water temperature was tepid, zero pressure in the showers and most of the bathrooms were stained and in urgent need of updating. Drinks were great, food was average with poor labelling. Thise who had dietary needs would struggle as the labels were often basic and mostly incorrect. Beach was good if you don't mind being stung by jellyfish. Excursions were the best. Hotel did nothing to acknowledge the big birthday and it was down to members of our party to arrange balloons and celebrations for this. Other guests were celebrated, noticed that our service was dependent on what race you were.

  So Disappointed

  Bar staff extremely hostile, constantly ignored at the bar. Drinks served in the restaurant after we finished dinner. No hot water in room, tepid at best. Rated 5* by TUI had better service In a Travel lodge. Been here 3 days can’t wait to fly home ‘!!!!!!!! Never again

  JELLYFISH

  Overall pretty good hotel! Building definitely need to be updated, but not critical. Hotel territory nice and quiet. Food delicious! Staff great! Beach clean and nice! But one big minus - JELLYFISH! Be prepare to got sting.

  Jellyfish and murky all year

  If you want a beach, don’t go here. Resort is lovely, staff is super, the water is known to be murky and full of jelly fish all year round. Purple flag on the beach is for the jelly fish (purple = “dangerous marine spotted”) and it’s up year round at this resort. The reason is the nearby river that murks up the water and makes it ideal for jelly fish. My kid and I got stung twice. It burns for half hour and then leaves a rash behind for a day. No seaweed on the beach at any point. So everyone floods to the pool, it’s a gorgeous pool but seriously over crowded all week and all year round because there’s nothing else to do. The sand at the beach is not great can’t make sand castles at all. We tried. The food is fantastic. I was there with two kids and we loved the buffets. Great variety and never got bored. We couldn’t get any reservations at any of the restaurants, we tried to book the day we arrived. Rooms are roomy and basic and fine. No complaints. If the beach was swimmable I would come back, but it’s never swimmable.

  Horrible and tasteless food

  The hotel was good. Room services, the workers, and night shows were excellent but the food was horrible and tasteless. If you are spending 4 days at that hotel, be ready to eat the same things over and over and over and over again. On my third night, I went to ask the front desk to ask if it was possible to order something from outside using Uber Eats and they said no, I was desperate to eat something actually good.
