Worst experience
Our stay was a nightmare from start to finish. We had to switch rooms three times before finally getting one with decent air conditioning. Everywhere we walked, the place felt unbearably hot—no A/C in hallways, lounges, or common areas, and the dining hall was just as hot. When we raised the issue with staff, we were told that this was the “true Jamaican experience,” which was not only unhelpful but also dismissive of guests’ comfort and health needs. I have a history of high blood pressure, and being exposed to constant heat is simply not safe for me. This experience was not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous to my health. The resort failed to provide a basic standard of comfort and safety, and the response from staff only worsened the situation. I hope management takes these concerns seriously: address the cooling system across the property, improve room-to-room consistency, train staff to respond empathetically to guest complaints, and offer meaningful compensation for the distress and health risks caused. Would I return? Not unless I see clear, verified improvements and a commitment to guest well-being. Star rating: 1.5/5

Looks nice from outside but lacks customer service..!!!
Where do we start ......!! Coming back to a room with no clean towels and having to ask serval times...!!! The floor of our room not being cleaned with visible dirty marks One of the taps in the bathroom only allowed hot water , very dangerous as we have young children Dirty bed sheets not being charged Room service calls not being answered Being told to wait 20 mins for clean towels......way too many stairs to get to our room Our air conditioning stopped working Loud music outside still being heard despite balcony door being closed Attitude of certain staff members unacceptable.....

Not a 5 star hotel! Horrible
Omg! Where do I start?... Let's start with the park in lot. Horrendous! My husband had to drive about a mile before he could find parking. There's no clear direction as to where one should park. When he finally found parking, it was on the other end near the luxury side. Then we got to the front this. Check-in was not until 3 PM which I understand. Every single agent seemed like they had an attitude. Maybe because of the common areas air condition was broken. I stayed there five days and could not have been happier to check out when it was time to go home. I found the workers to be extremely unhappy, unpleasant, and along with being rude. Especially in the dining department. I must say, the kids club workers was the only place where I found that I was impressed with and 2 guys at the towel station. The kitchen staff was more focused on the local politics. Then servin the guess. At 1 point I thought a fight had broken out at the jerk station due to the excitement. It's very unprofessiona. Then while i'm at the jerk station, someone needs to mention to the workers that they need to handle our food with gloves. I watched one of the worker pick up cheese, hamburger buns, and bread with his bare hands.. And who serve American jerk sauce into Jamaica? Jamaicans are known for their jerk sauce, why are we importing sauces? I know fake jerk sauce when I taste it!! And every meal that I had was so salty to the point where my rings were stuck on my fingers for the five days I've been there. Please tell him to take it easy with the salt. Its not healthy. The room service wasn't too bad but I do have a problem with the roaches... One problem that I noticed while my stay is that they do not have enough trash barrels on the compounds. I'm usually not a person to leave my trash hall over the place but I was forced to because I could not find any. Have a few more complaints. We're always out of cups! There's no straws on, the compound and the glasses near the beach hut is extremely old. They need to be discarded. For 5 star hotels, the service was poorer then a 3 star hotel expectation. And just to recap the AC in the common areas were broken for my duration of my stay! I was not a happy camper. The only place I had AC was in my room. There were so many problems and issues. We were told we can only make special dinner reservations for dinner. Using only 2 restaurants per stay. Most off the restaurants were closed or fully booked.. We only ended up eating at the buffet station every night. And every morning. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Good experience
Overall it was a good experience. It was a beautiful resort ,staff was professional and helpful. Customer service was excellent. The food overall was ok. There is a buffet by the seaside they serve great food. The buffet near the pool the food was ok could have had some more options . My only issue wasthat my family and I was not able to connect to the wifi the first night untill the next day. But the lady at the front desk was very helpful in fixing the issue. Overall is was good experience
