AVA RESORT CANCUN Absolutely Amazing – Best Vacation Experience in Cancun!
Absolutely Amazing – Best Vacation Experience in Cancun! This was hands down the most amazing vacation I’ve ever had in Mexico. AVA, the brand-new resort, is truly something special. Where do I even begin? From the moment you arrive, the beauty and design of the hotel take your breath away. The layout is thoughtfully planned, modern, and luxurious—but what really sets AVA apart is the incredible level of service. You feel welcomed like a VIP from the second you walk in. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. The restaurants are phenomenal, with an impressive variety to suit any taste. I’m not usually one to write reviews, and as someone who’s well-traveled and experienced many top-tier places, I can say AVA exceeded every expectation. One standout was Bayside Café—absolutely next level! When I say wow, I mean 10 out of 10. It’s rare to find that combination of amazing food, atmosphere, and top-tier service in one spot. Special thanks to: • Angel, the talented chef who brought flavor and creativity to every plate. • Rodolfo, hands-down the best server—attentive, warm, and professional. • Jesus, the awesome manager who made sure every detail was perfect. AVA may be an all-inclusive resort, but it feels more like a private luxury experience. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Cancun, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommended!

Skeptical at first but loved it!🥰
🌴 Ava Resort Cancun – Luxury, Hospitality, and Unmatched Food 🌴 We’ve stayed at many resorts over the years, but Ava Cancun has redefined what a true five-star experience feels like. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless — warm, personal, and genuine. The staff here truly make the difference. Huge thank you to Alejandro, Xitialli, and Hever, who made every moment feel special. Their energy and kindness left a lasting impression. And the food? Truly next-level. By far the best dining experience we’ve ever had at a resort. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. The resort itself strikes a perfect balance — secluded, peaceful spots if you want quiet, and plenty of energy and fun if you’re looking to dive into activities. Whether you want rest or play, Ava has it all. Now, one important heads-up for anyone considering a stay during the warmer months (April through summer): this is seaweed season in the area, and it was significant during our visit. We didn’t use the beach at all. If you’re coming this time of year, know that this is a pool resort — not a beach resort — during this season. Luckily, the pools are stunning, spacious, and plentiful, with excellent service throughout. Still, despite that, we left with full hearts, full stomachs, and unforgettable memories. Ava Cancun, you’ve set a new bar. We’ll absolutely be back.

The ALL INCLUSIVE you have to stay at in Cancun, Mexico
We booked the Ava Resort Cancun through our travel agent. Overall, I would rate it as 4.8/5 (will explain below what took away from a 5/5). The entire staff from reception to concierge to pool service to room service to restaurants were so customer-friendly and customer-centric. We were always bing asked , even if staff were passing us in the Lobby, how they could help us or if we needed anything. AVA Cancun is an exceptional all inclusive. we picked it because we had a large family gathering to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday, so we had our children and grandchildren (a total of 8 adults and 3 grandchildren) at the resort. We found the food service and wait staff extremely competent, friendly, and professional. You do have to make reservations for dining in the evening. At all other times eating at the Aroma Cafe for breakfast or the food-service by the pool areas, service was quick, efficient, and oh so friendly. The pool areas are set up for adults and families in the North Tower end and there is an adults-only pool in the South Tower end of the resort. In the North Tower end, were we spent all of our time (with our children and grandchildren), there is the Ava Bay area where you get kayaks and paddle boards to paddle around Ava Bay. There is also a saltwater section. Additionally, there is a kids-friendly area with shallow water and slides and climbing equipment for kids (and grandchildren) to enjoy. The pool bar in the North Tower end is open all day and you can get both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as you relax in the pool or sit at the pool bar. There are multiple activities daily from the Fitness area (early morning yoga) to water aerobics in the pool. There is alos very lively music all day long with some specialized soloists (like on saxophone and bongos) to make sure you enjoy the beat while in the pool. There is also a fantastic and very lard "Kids Zone" in the North Tower side of the resort. Here children and grandchildren can romp around on jungle gym equipment, bounce on trampolines, or even get their faces painted with their favorite movie character. Our grandchildren loved this area, as did the parents. Dinner was alwasy exceptional and better than I have ever experienced at any resort area (we ate at Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, and Western/American Steak). There are also a couple of "adults only" restaurants. Service is beyond expectations and the food presents a culinary delight for any palette. After dinner, and as a special treat for the grandchildren, there is the Konos Gelato (in the South Tower) with several dozen flavors of Gelato. This was definitely the reward each day for our grandchildren, as well as adult children and their spouses. There were two items that we did feel merited a critique and hence reduced our overall rating from 5/5 to 4.8/5. (1) Upon check-in, while waiting for our rooms to be assigned, there was an aggressive or overt attempt to sell us on the "Vacation Club". I would recommend these sales pitches be curtailed or softened as by the time we arrived at the resort, around 3:00 pm (MXDT), we were very tired and had no desire to listen to an overt sales pitch. (2) Our room was located in the extreme end of the South Tower. Besides being nearly 3/4 of a mile away from our children and grandchildren in the North Tower, the promised "Ocean View"--was not. We overlooked the area where the seaweed accumulates, has a very pungent smell, and each morning there were Bobcats and Front Loaders moving dirty sand around--not exactly the "Ocean View" we were expecting (I am attaching a couple of photos that show this). I would suggest to the Resort Management that the rooms in the extreme end of the South Tower be discounted because of the seaweed and construction activities and not sold as an "Ocean View". I would also recommend to vacationers to specifically request rooms in the North Tower, or the South Tower just off of the Lobby. Overall, I would give the Ava Resort Cancun 4.8/5 stars and highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for an all-inclusive for a family gathering or celebration.

✨ Back in Cancun: AVA, Round Two! ✨
After a rocky first visit, we gave AVA another chance—and we're so glad we did. This time, it was the people who made all the difference. 🙌 Huge thanks to Rafa, Randy, and Ariel, our phenomenal butlers. Their warmth and professionalism made every moment feel personal and effortless. 🌴📸 👨🍳 And shoutout to Chef Eric, who prepared a showstopping fish dish—equal parts beautiful and delicious. 🛏️ While the rooms still need improvement and the beach wasn’t fully ready, the hospitality more than made up for it. 4 stars this time—and a much brighter memory to take home. #AVAResorts #CancunVibes #ExceptionalService #ButlerDreamTeam #ChefHighlight #TravelMemories #ResortReview #RelaxAndRecharge
