Amazing hotel!!!
Beautiful facilities a variety of food. Our favorite restaurant was Black Iron and Copal tacos. The pool was spectacular, as were the rooms and their views. Aroma's pastries and coffee are fantastic. Something we have to highlight was our arrival and departure from the hotel. From the moment we walked through the door we saw a welcoming smile at reception and the same smile greeted us as we said goodbye. Cristina at reception supported us throughout our stay. She was always cordial and willing to help answering my questions, and providing me with information I needed. Whenever I needed directions or information about the location of a place she would walk me to the door and show genuine interest in making our stay at the hotel a pleasant one. A great experience at Ava Cancun.

Amazing Stay!
Just got back from our 6 night stay at Ava! I must say we had an amazing experience. 1) Rooms were very clean and spacious ( we had the friends and family sun deck suite ) which was super spacious. Beds were comfortable. Shower water needs to be worked on it gets very hot out of no where and back to warm. 2) the resort is huge so if you go with kids take a stroller because the walk is quite a distance from the room to the pool or buffet and or restaurants 3) lots of things to do on the resorts. Kayak they allow kids 2 yrs old with an adult on there. Not the standing ones though ( you have to be 13 for those) Water inflatable obstacle you have to be at least five years old or a certain height to go on there and you must be accompanied by adult unless you’re over 13) 4) kids club activities you have to be at least four years old to participate in any of the pool activities although during our stay, we didn’t see many of the activities, but my kids did participate in the bubble party at the pool. 5) top restaurants black iron , Copal and Kita The buffet has amazing options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ( it does close from 4:30pm to 6pm for dinner prep) one suggestion I would have is that they should get some chips and snacks for kids to be able to grab and munch on) they had none during our stay. Both ice cream stores were phenomenal north and south end! 6) service was absolutely amazing all of the staff members at the front desk and throughout the entire resort we’re very helpful and accommodating with any of our requests and or needs. 7) the kids arcade was just about finished during our stay, but it was not open yet so I suspect it’ll be open pretty soon. It was very big and a lot of game options for kids something for them to do at night. 8) bowling and escapology and the car simulators were not included in the all-inclusive. You did have to pay additionally to use those amenities. ( we did escapology , kids under five are free and over five is $45 a person) it was a very fun experience ! 9) Beach area wasn’t all that. The photos are a little misleading because there’s really not that much of a beach area and I wouldn’t say the water is the best to swim in. Overall, we would definitely return to the resort. We had an amazing experience and they are constantly making improvements to the service and resort due to it being new. They have some kinks to work out but I think they’re on a good path ! I’ll post my videos on TikTok!

Great Stay at Ava Cancun — Some Room for Improvement
Just got back from a five-night stay at Ava Cancun (April 23–28) and overall had a great experience! The resort is beautiful, massive, and has a lot of potential — though it’s clear that some areas still need work. The food was some of the best I’ve had at an all-inclusive, and the gym was brand-new with top-tier equipment — I loved working out there. Noise wasn’t an issue at all (even staying above the nightclub), and the planes flying overhead didn’t bother us either. That said, there were a few downsides that made this more of a 4-star experience for us. There’s already noticeable wear and tear around the resort — parts of the lagoon pool are peeling and became a bit slippery (definitely something to watch out for), there are cracked concrete spots that created tripping hazards, and some areas of the exterior are already showing rust. Also, the aggressive sales pitches — Legendary Vacations at check-in and Paradise Pass at checkout — felt pushy and a little predatory, which took away from the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. Despite these issues, the service was fantastic overall. Luis and Nayleai at the adults-only pool made our trip so memorable — they went out of their way to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and their kindness and energy truly made a difference. Ava Cancun is already a great option and once they address the maintenance issues and scale back the sales pressure, it could easily become a true 5-star resort. We’d definitely return to see how it grows!

Needs inside transportation but gorgeous resort
The place is amazing. Staff is extremely nice, attentive courteous and very professional. The food is great and the drinks. very clean and modern. Get ready to walk. There is LOTS of walking. Don’t stay in the south building if you don’t want to walk too much. Must of the restaurants and the best areas are in the north building. If you get pulled to the conference of legendary vacation club expect to spend 1/2 day there. Is NEVER 1 hr. Is an amazing club we love the club but they really need to step up the game and stop stealing half a day of relaxation sitting in an office fighting what to buy or not. Other than that the place deserves 5 stars or more.
