What We Love
- The resort is on an amazing, secluded stretch of Palm Beach. The swaying palm trees and white sands make a great place to hang out for the day.
Things to Know
- The resort offers amazing dining, like the sushi bar, just a few steps from the sand of one of Aruba's most spectacular and private beaches.
The resort has a lagoon-style pool with a rock-grotto waterfall that frames the ultra-convenient swim-up bar. If you're hankerin' for a bit more peace and quiet, make your way to the back of the waterfall to a nine-person, free-form spa tub, or at the H2Oasis adults-only pool.
Less than 10 minutes from the resort, the Tierra Del Sol Golf & Country Club lures fans of the game with an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned golf architect, Robert Trent Jones, II. The Tierra Del Sol course offers jaw-dropping ocean views backed by a rocky ledge of volcanic black rock. Don't worry about the kids while you're following that little white ball, the resort offers a terrific array of kids activities. So after the game, extend your playtime and let the talented attendants at the Balinese-style Mandara Spa get you ready for a night of fun with Lady Luck at the 24-hour casino. Stellaris Casino is not only the island's largest casino, but it offers a Vegas-style ambiance and plenty of non-stop action.
When all is said and done, saunter back to your Premium Ocean View and mull over all the possibilities waiting for you tomorrow. Then slide into sweet dreams in one of the largest rooms on the island.

Great place to stay
We stayed here for 8 nights in mid March and just loved it! Many thanks to Shem for taking such good care of us! Our room was a beautiful ocean front room on the 7th floor and the housekeeping staff were superb. I read about all the complaints about the palapa system so we asked at check in the best way to reserve them and we found it easy to use and we always managed to get one. There was a lot of seaweed in the water which was not pleasant but they did have people cleaning up the beach area . We took advantage of the daily happy hours...2 drinks for $18.00. However they have to be 2 of the same drinks. My husband and I don't like the same drinks and we didn't want 2 drinks at the same time so we often walked down the beach to other happy hours. My recommendation would be any two drinks... On site restaurants were wonderful. We left just as they were closing the island due to the pandemic and our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted. Will be back next year for sure but this time we will stay longer.
Family spring break trip
Nervous about choice of hotel, but pleased upon arrival. Small line at check-in on a Sunday afternoon. Even though I paid for a garden view room we were given an ocean view room, with an exceptional view of the ocean. Bathroom was roomy enough to accommodate two teenage girls, with two sinks, separate tub and toilet area, and walk-in closet area. Balcony held two chairs and a table. We dined at several of the restaurants on site, reserved palypas for free throughout our stay, and enjoyed other hotel amenities. Housekeeping was great too.
It was a pleasure working with the Concierge at Marriott. The main reason was Ludwig. He is amazing! He goes out of his way to make sure that you are happy and taken care of. The Marriott should be so proud to have him on their team. We look forward to working with him every year!
One Happy Island.
Great location, swimming pools are nice and spread out. They have an adults only pool. A couple of happy hours each day . The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The on site restaurants were good. The beach area was awesome and a lot of activities nearby. Service was very good.
Pope Francis La Vista
If you visit the Marriott in Aruba you must ask for Pope Francis at breakfast. We’ve been to Aruba 10 times now and the POPE is the best server Ive ever had. He made the kids a carafe of Hot Chocolate every morning and left the can of whip cream on the table for them. Breakfast was amazing as always but the POPE made it even better. Thank you POPE for a wonderful time and I will see you in January. Mike
