What We Love
- The resort is on an amazing, secluded stretch of Palm Beach. The swaying palm trees and white sands make a great place to hang out for the day.
Things to Know
- The resort offers amazing dining, like the sushi bar, just a few steps from the sand of one of Aruba's most spectacular and private beaches.
The resort has a lagoon-style pool with a rock-grotto waterfall that frames the ultra-convenient swim-up bar. If you're hankerin' for a bit more peace and quiet, make your way to the back of the waterfall to a nine-person, free-form spa tub, or at the H2Oasis adults-only pool.
Less than 10 minutes from the resort, the Tierra Del Sol Golf & Country Club lures fans of the game with an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned golf architect, Robert Trent Jones, II. The Tierra Del Sol course offers jaw-dropping ocean views backed by a rocky ledge of volcanic black rock. Don't worry about the kids while you're following that little white ball, the resort offers a terrific array of kids activities. So after the game, extend your playtime and let the talented attendants at the Balinese-style Mandara Spa get you ready for a night of fun with Lady Luck at the 24-hour casino. Stellaris Casino is not only the island's largest casino, but it offers a Vegas-style ambiance and plenty of non-stop action.
When all is said and done, saunter back to your Premium Ocean View and mull over all the possibilities waiting for you tomorrow. Then slide into sweet dreams in one of the largest rooms on the island.

Our last day, was the hotels last day, before the COVID closure. Difficult times define people.
We were at the Marriott for their closure. The whole island closed to all tourism and the airport closed two days after our departure. Lockdown. It was sad to watch an island who’s sole industry is tourism, be choked off. The Marriott staff was literally attentive to our every amenity even though there were less than 5 rooms still occupied, and the mammoth resort was screeching to a halt. We felt solidarity with them, and were heartbroken to know what was to follow the locking of the doors. Regardless of our emotional experience, the staff, and the administrators surrounded our every experience and made sure we never went without comfort. They also had real time postings of flight status’ in the lobby, for all airlines. In very troubling worrisome times, they were absolutely amazing. And... for the same reasons, we swill always strive to stay at Marriotts, and also use Delta. They were beyond what you would expect in such an uncertain times.
Excellent Service from Alexis at La Vista Restaurant!
We received EXCELLENT service from our waiter Alexis at La Vista restaurant during our stay at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. Alexis was so friendly and attentive to all of our requests! He always offered us to-go coffees and juice on our way out after breakfast & gave us great tips for fun outdoor activities to do on the island during our stay. If you decide to eat breakfast at La Vista restaurant on the resort, be sure to request Alexis as your waiter!
Beautiful but has lizards and they are large. Love Aruba baby beach
The Marriott was very nice but they have large lizards that roam unrestricted. One jumped on this old woman while in the outdoor cafe and took her sandwich. I don't mind gehkos those are cute but those huge lizards are terrible. Someof these were more than 3 feet long. Baby beach is worth the drive to the other side of the island. On a clear day you can see Venezuela. It is a beautiful white beach but there is no shade. The water beautiful and you can walk way out into the water. Loved this place!!
This was by far our favorite resort in the Caribbean! We were upgraded at check in to ocean view room due to being Marriott Elite. Beautiful resort with amazing pool. Great happy hour at the pool. The best beach by far. We ate at all the restaurants and they were fabulous. We will definitely be back!
Great place to stay
We stayed here for 8 nights in mid March and just loved it! Many thanks to Shem for taking such good care of us! Our room was a beautiful ocean front room on the 7th floor and the housekeeping staff were superb. I read about all the complaints about the palapa system so we asked at check in the best way to reserve them and we found it easy to use and we always managed to get one. There was a lot of seaweed in the water which was not pleasant but they did have people cleaning up the beach area . We took advantage of the daily happy hours...2 drinks for $18.00. However they have to be 2 of the same drinks. My husband and I don't like the same drinks and we didn't want 2 drinks at the same time so we often walked down the beach to other happy hours. My recommendation would be any two drinks... On site restaurants were wonderful. We left just as they were closing the island due to the pandemic and our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted. Will be back next year for sure but this time we will stay longer.
