  Very nice casino resort

  Very nice property and location. Staff were mostly friendly and professional. Food options were good as well water amenities. Adult pool was great and for a more lively time the regular pool was fun. Every night there was a great DJ and the casino was on point. The lobby bar and food was exceptional. So my disappointments: 1. The updated bathroom. The shower half glass enclosure is poorly designed. Everytime someone took a shower water soaked through the floor towel and left puddles. Since the toilet is directly next to the shower the water and wet floor became a hazard. We soaked through multiple floor towels everyday. I made an complaint via the app after I slipped on the floor and the only response I got was so you want us to send and engineer at 12AM? I couldn't figure out what an engineer could do except redesign the half shower glass into a whole shower glass and that wasn't going to happen. Hours later they closed out my complaint and no one followed up to make sure I was ok. 2. Disappointment about the invoice. At check out I was trying to get to the airport and was told to review the bill on the spot because if it closed out and later determined to be wrong there was nothing that could be done about it. This is first but I took the time and found $127 food charge to my room. I had to wait 10 minutes while the front desk clerk went in the back to research and return and tell it wasn't my charge.... Ok no explanation as to why I was charged. So check you invoice closely.

  Tough first day

  This is not the first time we have stayed here but things have certainly changed, perhaps not for the better. We choose this hotel to celebrate a friends birthday as we have done previously and had great memories. At check in yesterday we felt very rushed by the front desk staff. We would have liked to check in with the other couple so we perhaps get rooms near to each other but we could not. When we arrived to our room our view was the rooftop of a restaurant with a big metal kitchen exhaust fan at eye level. Granted we did book a limited view room, but from the pictures of the website we would see palm trees and look at other parts of the building, but certainly not the view we have. When I went back down to the front desk to address this, a different person basically said this is what we booked and honestly did not care about the website picture. No apologies or offer the change rooms. I would have considered paying more for a “better “ room but none was offered, and they are not fully booked! While the room was renovated, it is very interesting that the shower has a half glass wall but a shower curtain as well. Because of the design, this combination makes for a very narrow shower and the curtain basically sticks to you the entire time. This not the typical experience we have enjoyed here in the past and last day has made me really consider not returning which is a shame.

  Come and Enjoy!

  This was our first stay at this hotel. The newly renovated rooms have all new furniture that is neutral but modern coastal. The king rooms are a great size with a pull out sofa and walk in closet. The shower is updated and open yet it feels very clean with the glass and tile. There is a large variety of shops and restaurants in this hotel. We stayed in a garden view room and still enjoyed our view. The pool is a great time! The only item I was not a fan of was the closeness of the palapas on the beach. The beach area is smaller than the high rise areas but the water is still calm and beautiful. Come and Enjoy- we sure did!!!

  Another great stay at the Marriott

  Just back from another visit to the Aruba Marriott Stellaris. We have stayed there several times and always impressed with cleanliness of grounds and rooms. Food that we had was very good- special call out to Franc (Francis) in Mercat, the main restaurant. His service and his demeanor are outstanding. He mentioned that he has been there for many years and he is a real asset to the hotel. I still think the process of reserving palapas is not ideal. I was not impressed with the staff managing that and setting up the chairs.

  Highly Recommend!

  We LOVED our experience at the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. From the moment we walked in were greeted with a welcome from the staff and a welcome drink. The food, drinks, and staff were all impeccable and overall exceed our expectations. The resort was clean and comfortable. Our room was incredibly spacious. We were on our honeymoon and felt just like we made the best decision visiting Aruba and staying here.
