Aug 17, 2025Highly recommend the Andaz. Great from Check-In to Check-Out!
This place is amazing - it is surrounded by the beautiful nature/landscape of Costa Rica & it does not even feel like it is a hotel. The food is great, amenities are terrific, and the service from staff is outstanding. I want to specifically point out a gem in the Andaz - Isabelle who led 2 of the culture/nature activities that were offered by the hotel (she also works in the kids club). Isabelle was such a joy to meet & my sons and I loved spending time with her - she was so friendly, energetic, positive, and kind. We really treasured the conversations we had and she shared so many unique stories & tidbits of the Costa Rican culture. She was truly a pleasure! Highly recommend the Andaz. It’s hard to leave this beautiful property! We hope to return someday!

The service is unparalleled and the main reason I would consider going back. Facilities are gorgeous and the grounds are well manicured. The restaurants are average at best. The added resort fees, service charges, taxes and additional gratuities are cumbersome and lead to excessive cost overrun.

Tropical Paradise
Beautiful resort and a great experience for the whole family. The service and activities were great and would definitely stay there again.
