Calico Jack is a short walk along the waterfront boardwalk from the 1-Bedroom Beach Front Suites located on nearby Monck Beach.

Simply put, Ambergris Cay is exemplary of luxury island resort life. Not a single detail was overlooked in any facet of our stay - the incredible grounds staff (thank you to Claud and his team) keeps this property in amazing condition without compromise. The management of the facility is also incredible - while we had some moderate risk of hurricane exposure during our visit that ultimately passed us by, management stayed incredibly communicative, accommodating, and understanding throughout the process - going as far as to plan full days of activities safe from any adverse weather that may have come about. The entire food & beverage program (a very special thank you to Miguel, Evelyn, Jose, Jerson, Frantz, Juan, GK, Pedro, and Vishnu) is delicious, creative, and always changing - the staff anticipates needs and finds wonderful ways to surprise guests throughout the stay - top tier hospitality. The team’s dedication to service at every single meal and visit was remarkable and left us wanting for nothing. Fitness and wellness programming is fantastic - the gym is stunning and the regularly run yoga classes from Ayu are terrific (and designed for all levels), tennis courts and paddle courts are in exceptional condition and very high quality lessons / coaching available for all skill levels (thank you to Jerome!!). The spa programming is best in class - a very talented team with a terrific array of treatments to choose from - every visit was wonderful. No shortage of daytime activities on the water - hangover bar at Little Cay is not to be missed, sunset cruise is so stunning (and another big thank you to captains Keith and John for making that so terrific). Representative of the level of luxury and service that Ambergris provides through a guests stay is their concierge program - Clemente was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and constantly available to assist us with anything we needed. This level of service is remarkable and a true differentiator for the resort. Goes without saying that this is one of the most naturally beautiful resorts in the region - thank you so much to everyone who made this such a memorable experience.

A+ Experience
Awesome experience - the beach bungalows are top notch! The thing that makes the island special is the quality of the staff - so pleasant, responsive and genuinely happy to do their jobs. Our Bungalow Host, Clay, was so responsive but we never felt like he was overbearing. He made sure that we had everything we wanted and were well informed. Even took us on a tour of the island and some of the Villas. We were there through the potential of Hurricane Melissa and were well informed and contingency plans were made for all the guests. Fortunately, the storm missed the island and we had a fantastic time. Will definitely return!!

Honeymoon
We went for our honeymoon and it was idyllic. All of the staff like Pedro, Jose, Subash, capt. John, and Clemente made it a one of a kind experience. Can’t recommend this place enough for a secluded getaway.

Exquisite bungalows for a refreshing stay
My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Ambergris Cay. The bungalows are the nicest accommodation we have ever had, and we've stayed in some very nice resorts. The staff greatly outnumbers the guests and the personal attention from our butler, Clementine was wonderful. Housekeeping was immaculate (call out to Mary Jean) and all the water sports staff (Fish, Jason, Caiden?) were fun and friendly. The food was great, especially the lunches. The only negative was that the swimming was not as great as most places; the water off the bungalows was quite shallow and the main pool's deep area wasn't much bigger than the (very nice!) splash pool at our private bungalow. Still, that is a minor quibble about a wonderful stay and the views from our bungalow were exceptiona.

Fabulous beyond words
AMAZING!! Doesn’t begin to describe it. Flawless in every way. We were spending my 80th birthday there. The bungalow was breathtaking. A king sized bed, a shower for a football team, an outdoor shower, a plunge pool and the beach steps away. Our butler Victor anticipated our every whim. The food was so fresh, delicious and creative. The staff made a special party for me which balloons, centerpieces and a gorgeous cake baked by Ankita. Waiters Miguel and Louis created magic. Deep sea fishing with Jason and Marlon helped in catching 3 barracuda. The sunsets were incredible. The room was attended to twice a day., replacing towels and turning down the beds leaving chocolates. I’m sure I’m forgetting some of the amazing staff but I can’t think of a more luxurious, romantic spot.💕
