    Ok hotel. Great staff

    The restaurants were ok.The staff was so great. The management wasn’t great. Our bathroom flooded sewage into our room, the manager treated us as a problem. Gave us a new room offered no apology

    A great week!

    We just returned from spending a week at the Allegro. The weather was perfect (hot); the beach is beautiful as are the sunsets. Great time to go (the first week of Dec), no shortage of beach chair availability and next to no lineups.  The staff are lovely people - very friendly and accommodating no matter what part of the resort you are in. From housekeeping to the servers, to front desk staff to the grounds / maintenance people, they all work very hard to keep the resort and the grounds clean and welcoming. And they always have a smile on their faces.  A very special thank you to Dana, our new friend and wonderful beach bar server, and Fernando behind the beach bar making delicious drinks. They both ensured we were kept well hydrated.🙂 It was an absolute pleasure seeing their kind and smiling faces every day.  Henri, often our server at the dinner buffet, was lovely as well. He made sure our group of 6 were well taken care of, which included making speciality coffees and desserts right at our table. Pedro was our chef at the Asian restaurant; he did a great job and was very entertaining at the teppanyaki grill. Jennifer at the lunch buffet was very kind and accommodating, and Cristina at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The Allegro employs great people!  The food at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets was great. Lots of variety. If something was getting low, it wouldn't be long before it was replenished.  The rooms aren't fancy but provide all you need. We figure we're only in our rooms to sleep anyway! We weren't too far from the entertainment at night but were not impacted by it at all.  This was our 4th time at the Allegro, our last time was 10 years ago. We're so glad we came back; we had a great week and were not disappointed. We won't hesitate to come back.

    Great for families with small kids

    We stayed here with our kids and got two rooms connected. It was great. The resort was small enough the kids could be heard and seen from anywhere lol. The kids club was awesome. My kids loved this vacation

    There for the beach not the room or food or sleep

    Loud, food sub par for resort expectations, rooms need a lot of work, and a bad smell in the air, especially in the mornings. Beach, pool and grounds are beautiful. Always able to find a place to lounge and relax as plenty of chairs available. Buffets, breakfast, lunch and dinner are not allergy friendly as nothing is labeled. So depending on how severe allergy is you take a risk, especially with cross contamination. Would we go back, not to sure. First all inclusive that no weight gain happened. Definitely do not go for the food.

    Wonderful Family vacation

    Me , my husband & my parents just spent a week at the Allegro Cozumel and honestly we had an amazing time . The beach at this resort is absolutely stunning ( sunsets are gorgeous) the food was great, the grounds were beautiful . Arbey and all the entertainment staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re having fun, Christina and all the reception/lobby staff are so helpful in assisting you with anything you may need . All the staff at this resort are so lovely, kind and work hard to keep the place as wonderful as it is. We will definitely be back.
