  The Sugar on Top is the Great Staff!

  Sugar Beach is in a truly magical setting. The dramatic landscape set between the Pitons sets it apart from other Caribbean islands. In St. Lucia, the vibrant nature is breathtaking, and the experience is made even better by the genuine warmth and attentiveness from the moment you arrive, and it never feels forced. Robert Gregg, working behind the scenes, truly looked out for us. He went out of his way to make sure everything flowed smoothly and that our stay felt easy and cared for. He is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful, the kind of person whose presence quietly elevates everything. The spa was a highlight. Vernanka and Dexter were exceptional. Their treatments were outstanding, and it was clear right away that they are both masters of their craft with decades of experience. If you are considering a treatment, make time for one with either of them. It is rare to find such talented therapists who pour their heart through their hands. Marcelo, our butler, was attentive, calm, and very good at solving anything that came up. He handled details effortlessly and made the days feel seamless. Great vibes. In the restaurants, Maurica and Shakira brought so much warmth. I genuinely looked forward to seeing Maurica’s bright smile each day and being welcomed by her. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy with every meal, and her care made dining feel personal rather than routine. She is a true gem. Michael, our shuttle driver, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Every ride felt easy and well cared for, and his warmth did not go unnoticed. Everyone was really authentic and you could tell their attitude was not forced but came from a true desire to serve. Louis, the manager at Cane Bar and Saltwood, was polished, professional, and consistently attentive. He ran things beautifully and made each experience feel smooth and relaxed. Sugar Beach is spectacular not only because of where it sits, but because of the people who bring it to life. There is a deep understanding of hospitality here, and it shows in many small, meaningful ways. I highly recommend this magical escape, and if you are from New York, the one flight to paradise is a bonus.

  Was a nice resort but wasn’t worth $2000 a night

  The resort was nice, but they let too many cruise ship people in the resort and on the beach I thought it would be more private. the Butler service was mediocre and they told me to go on the app with all my questions and requests. as I was standing in the reception talking to a concierge they told me to go on the app I thought that was very very low.

  Anniversary getaway.

  A beautiful property nestled in Soufrière. Top notch service and one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve experienced. Stay here - it’s a splurge but we were so happy we got to experience it and would return in a heartbeat! The villas were private, spacious and exquisite.

  Spectacular accommodations and Service with wonderful views, spa, and restaurants. Fantastic Butlers!

  Wonderful retreat allowing for rest and relaxation. Spectacular views. We stayed in a beach bungalow and loved the service and location. Beautiful resort with all the amenities. Great snorkeling. Fantastic butler service, as well as restaurant service and food. Would definitely recommend.

  Magical Resort!

  We absolutely loved staying in the beach bungalow. Comfort, beauty, service, and delicious meals! The ocean water was warm and clear. Such a gorgeous and welcoming experience! Every single employee made us feel special. Highly recommend this resort if you want to relax in a stunning setting with amazing service!
