Dec 09, 2025I'm glad we didn't pay full price
Despite being g an older property, it is nicely maintained. The food in the restaurants were tasty, but the buffets were only about average. The staff , for the most part, were friendly and accommodating. The room, however, had bedbugs, which really put a damper on things. We had to switch rooms.

Very bad experience, no proper rooms, old building, not good service, etc. I expected basic comfort, cleanliness, and professionalism — none of which were delivered. I do not recommend this hotel and would strongly advise future guests to consider other options.

No smoking allowed!
If you want to smoke any tobacco, don't come here. No smoking signs are everywhere. The only designated smoking area is at the front parking lot.

Subject: Urgent: Sanitation Complaint — Disgusting Bed Linens & Request for Immediate Service Recovery Reference code 901303726 To: General Manager, Dreams Playa Bonita, Panama Cc: Hyatt Inclusive Collection Management; Hyatt Hotels Corporation Guest Relations Dear General Manager and Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally complain about an unacceptable and unsanitary condition in my room at Dreams Playa Bonita, Panama. This is a serious hygiene concern and a failure to meet the standards I expect from a property affiliated with the Hyatt Inclusive Collection and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Reservation details • Guest name: • Reservation number: Reference code 901303726 • Check-in date: Sun, Nov 23, 2025 • Check-out date: Fri, Nov 28, 2025 • Room number: 223 Summary of the incident Upon entering my room on Sunday, Nov 23, 2024, I was too exhausted to check the room. However, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 AM, due to the room freezing, I was woken up to discover the bed linens in a disgusting, unsanitary condition (see attached photos). The white down comforter was heavily stained, soiled, with visible bodily fluids/mold/dirt. These images clearly show the condition, making the room unusable and unsafe from a health and comfort standpoint.

Avoid avoid avoid
Avoid this hotel at all cost, but he had avoided Panama. The hotel was outdated dirty disgusting one room completely flooded and when the AC guy fixed it, he broke personal items and just said oops. There’s no effort to communicate in your native language, despite trying to communicate with them and theirs the pool smelled like and the water was dirty. The food was disgusting and beyond basic the chicken Parm was basically a chicken nugget with cheese and sauce on it.

This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
