    Love this hotel

    Had a family vacation here for a week…6 adults and 3 children. The kids had an absolute blast. Adults had fun as well. 😁 Would highly recommend for a family vacation. We had a hard time getting the kids out of the water (nice pools, spectacular beach). Buffet was great. Have been there many times before as a couple and with a group of ladies. Enjoyed every trip. Highly recommend.

    Hotel Rui Vallarta

    see ratings below. The room had a noise from the roof fan that was almost unbearable. The music was too loud and progressed as the evening wore on, would rather see the louder music earlier and then progress to quieter music

    Overall Great Resort

    Resort was clean & overall service was good. We had to ask for water to be restocked in our fridge multiple times but other than that everyone was so nice & helpful. Food was better than most all inclusive resorts we have been to. Lots of activities each day and the beach is great!

    First time in Nuevo Nayarit

    Our first trip to this area of Mexico. The Rui Vallarta was the ideal size for a retired couple and friends, not a mega resort. The atmosphere was pretty laid back. The entertainment staff were an energetic group of young people and offered fun activities for everyone. We had a jr. suite and it suited us very well, it had a larger balcony. Our room was cleaned so well every day, thanks for the cleaning staff. The buffet and à la carte offerings were very good and we appreciated that fact that reservations were not needed. We never had to wait very long to get into an à la carte. The pools were clean and the morning deck chair was the usual scramble. The beach was large but there were palapas, so you had to move with the sun if you wanted shade. We found the sound system in the evenings was not great. It was way too loud and did not provide a good sound. The red wine offered is from Spain which we thought would be good, it was not that great. All other drink offerings were good.

    Great place

    My first time at a regular RIU. Usually we stay at a RIU Palace. I noticed some small differences, but overall this is a very nice resort. The food was always excellent. I missed the poolside service, and no room service.
