Overall it was a great time

THIS IS A COUPLES RESORT. It doesn’t say but it surely is. Everything is couples oriented so if you’re coming alone or with a guy friend, go elsewhere. Over all though it was a lot of fun, very relaxing and clean resort. Be prepared to do some walking because the resort has a lot of hills but the transportation is pretty good. The adults only area was fun, and the infinity pool at the main spot was pretty small but still plenty big for the amount of people. After 9pm there really isn’t anything to do other than go to bed or go to the sky bar (a very nice bar) but no one was ever really in there. Food wasn’t to bad, my wife and I had mud butt for the trip and a full week after but that’s just because of the diet change and all the yummy alcohol. Make sure to make dinner reservations the night you get there so your not stuck eating the buffet every night!! Drinks were delicious, try the mango/pinapple dacari or the mai tai. Staff are friendly and pretty attentive, our favorite was Eric at the juice bar and Luis the driver! Great people. They have a very relaxing mineral spa/ natural pool we went to every day with a tasty smoothie. Surely check that out, it’s in the middle of the resort. The beach ride is a 10 min drive and away and they have THE BEST tacos and ceviche there! Beach was clean but typical Pacific Ocean, merky and rough. Room was very clean and bed was semi comfy, the AC was awesome! Seriously a life saver. One piece of advice I can give; bring bug spray!! Again overall great resort, had lots of fun and would recomend!

Great time but....

We found the resort absolutely stunning. The rooms were very nice. The drivers, especially Christian, were informative and helpful. The beach staff, Martin and ulises were amazing. The food and drinks were the best at the beach club. Unfortunately on our the last day at the adult only beach there were a few toddlers there so we left. Beer selection was misleading. Only tecate and Dos Equis were available. The room service menu had several beers on the list but we were told they were unavailable. Now the food at the resort...AWFUL! The buffet food was cold and tasteless. The desserts were worse. The steakhouse food: clam chowder was just broth. The steaks all arrived the same temperature- Well! The Italian restaurant was just as bad. Minestrone soup was tomato juice with vegetables that they threw in 2 seconds before serving and no pasta. The chicken Parmesan was dry, no sauce or cheese on it. The cannelloni had a neon green mixture in it that was unrecognizable. With the specialty restaurants, you had to make a reservation 2 days before and literally beg for a time. And you could only hold 2 at a time. The mini bar only had beer and soda that was filled with a max of 3 beers a day...no other vices were available. Needless to say, we had a great time and met some fantastic people. We’d return for the beach only.

The resort itself is beautiful and the view is to die for! We received a room upgrade to ocean view because we were celebrating my birthday. Room was decorated upon arrival for my birthday, which was awesome. The service was mediocre. We had to ask for drinks numerous times and went to fetch them ourselves quite a few times as well. We tip regularly at all inclusive and it seemed to do nothing here. The food was ok. The best meal for us was the steak house which was amazing. Brazilian seemed very unorganized and wasn’t that great. Very, very limited reservation spots for a la carte restaraunts. We were there five nights and was only able to make two reservations. Breakfast was good, but it was the same food everyday and same with lunch buffet. They did a Mexican fiesta that did offer amazing Mexican fare and would highly recommend if you visit. The mariachi band was pretty awesome as well. The rooms were just ok as well. They look appealing to the eye. Fair warning the beds are hard as a rock! I had back pains. The beach was a hassle to get to and from. Once down there it is very dirty including the sand and water. View again was amazing as well as the food offered at the beach club and the service. Definitely try the guacamole! The activity team is really fun and outgoing but seems as if they are not provided with all the tools needed to successfully perform their jobs. They all had great personalities and were fun to be around! It says adults only, but we encountered kids quite a few times and it was honestly pretty annoying considering we were on vacation. It should either be family friendly or adults only because the two do not mix well. It is not relaxing to hear kids screaming while you are sunbathing by the pool or having to jump in and pull a kid out because he jumped in and could not swim. If you are into exercise or nature, the hiking trail is pretty neat and I highly recommend it! Great view of the marina at the top! There is no night life at this resort so if you are looking for more fun after hours, this is not the place! Do your full research before booking. At most I would rate this 3 stars and to me that is highly generous. Happy travels!
