  Outstanding

  Hi, my dear friends, my family! For been so lucky to visit you for 7 times, I guess you know that you are "Family". 😊 In this review I will just say that if you would love to meet the most lovely, careful, attendant and hard working staff - yes, come here! I have before put up some reviews that you can check out with more detail review. But for now, I will say as every time before - what makes Riu Palace Mexico, to one of my most beautiful places on earth, is the staff! Here I have so many lovely person to mention. At the restaurants, Adela, Carolina, Addy, Faviola, Mary, Abraham, Hermino, Elisa, Christel, Emela, Edela by so many others. Hope you can forgive for forgetting names and slipping my tongue. ;( In the reception service is as splendid as everywhere at this hotel, very quick and most attentive. My deepest thanks to Paolo and Ulises among all of you all. :) I have spent the most time at this lovely, blended beach, with the most astonishing beautiful staff - the staff att bar "El Palmeral"! Come here, only for meeting them. :) They are my heroes and the most lovely, friendly, attentive and skilled persons you could ask for. Hope you will get the chance to meet Lazaro, Javi, José, Ravi, German, Pastor, Orlando, Pedro, Mario, Ermilo, Luis, Alfredo, Animele, Angel and Axel. Look out, you will fall in love! So for this time, I will end this review with saying, what makes, shapes and creates Riu Palace Mexico, is the Staff, this wonderful, amazing and most fabulous staff!. If you have the opportunity, come here. 😊 You will not regret it.   Great stay, great staff.

  I just spent 10 days with a group at Riu Palace Mexico. We had a great time, but the highlight of our stay was the friendly staff, particularly Alex. Alex's smiling face was seemingly everywhere. He did the yoga classes, he did the pool/water aerobics classes, he did pool bar games/entertainment. He remembered your name from the first time you met, and greeted you warmly thereafter.

  Very disappointed after 1 day of 14

  If you’re coming with Tui you will be disappointed… Worst rooms in the hotel overlooking a walkway between us and Rui Yucatan. Having used Rui and particularly the Palaces over 20 years this will be our last. Arrived today 8/5/25, the airport is a nightmare which isn’t the hotels fault however having been here 7 times never waited 2 hours for baggage after a delay at Gatwick, day 1 wiped out again not hotels fault. Check in great and quick 👍 Room terrible, looks like it was put together and painted on a Friday afternoon overlooking the walkway for all to use between Palace and Yucatan, not nice images, these are the rooms Tui get allocated reception told us. We asked to move instantly being a Rui Class member and stayed at their hotels from Aruba 🇦🇼 Jamaica 🇯🇲 Cape Verde 🇨🇻 Dominican 🇩🇴 and Mexico 🇲🇽 many times. Got married at one had our honeymoon at one and always celebrate our anniversary at one however this is below standard of any Rui yet alone a palace. We have come as a group of 4 on our recommendation and they as very unimpressed with the room. We had a meal tonight 8/5/25 and very nice, cannot fault the food. Walking through the resort there are stunning views of the fountains and music which we expected at £2300 per person but no Tui get walkway with drunk people doing their business as we look out our balcony. Having been loyal to Rui for 20+ years they said they could move us tomorrow for an extra £500 so we could have a nice view… So sad to be leaving this review after 8 hours however we wish we had saved £1500 and gone back to the Riu Tequila. Reception, “ we understand you are loyal customers but these are the rooms Tui book with us “ If you wat a nice room it will be £500 extra, not explained when booking. This will definitely be our last time using Rui. Roo

  The best!

  The best hotel ever!!! Great, great, great!! The vibe, the atmosphere, surrounding, the staff, food, the experience. Everything about this hotel was perfect. We had a great time. We always pick the RIU hotel as we can count on it every time but this one was so much more. This was our second time in Mexico ( first was in other RIU, also great) and the third time ( soon!)will be in RIU Palace Mexico for sure! This is the best hotel in Playa del Carmen and it is exceeeeelllleeeente!! Thank you for making our holidays the best!

  The RIU Palace Mexico in Playa del Carmen is a luxurious all-inclusive resort featuring a pristine beachfront, upscale accommodations, and a wide array of dining and entertainment options. All in all, the RIU Palace Mexico is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway, offering an abundance of amenities and a stunning setting
