    Amazing Time!

Family of 4 (2 teens: ages 15 & 13) visited in mid Jan 2026 This was our third time at Hotel Xcaret, and once again, it was amazing. The resort continues to impress us, even with the new expansion. Overall Experience Hotel Xcaret remains a truly unique, all-inclusive resort with exceptional service, incredible amenities, and the added bonus of all parks and excursions included. It somehow keeps getting better each time we return. Weather (January) Weather was pleasant and not too hot.On overcast days it felt a bit cooler especially if windy. Some evenings and nights were cooler as well so suggest to pack a light sweater if visiting in January. Resort Layout & New Section This was our first visit since the new section opened. It took a few days to get our bearings, but once we did, it pretty easy to navigate. We requested to stay in the older section, and the resort accommodated this request. Room & Service We stayed in Casa Tierra, with a walk-out room to the main pool, which we loved. Midway through our trip, we had a room issue. The service we received from Gustavo and the staff was exceptional—they helped us move rooms quickly and smoothly. Our second room was even better for is, with a walk-out in the cove area in Tierra. Pools & Beach The pools felt cold for me in mid-January. Surprisingly, the ocean felt warmer than the pools. The beach was beautiful. If you walk in front of Hotel Xcaret Arte, you’ll find a wide, gorgeous beach. We also swam in the lagoons and rivers and found some hidden slides which was fun. Teens & Activities Our kids loved exploring the new section They especially enjoyed: The water slides The teen club, including the cool games room. There is also a nice roof top pool area in the new section. There is also a teen/family game room behind Chibali restaurant—easy to miss, so definitely look for it! Food & Dining Food was excellent, as always. We enjoyed both the buffets and several à la carte restaurants. The new section adds many more dining options, which was a big plus. Entertainment & Nightlife Evening entertainment included various live bands, which we really enjoyed. There is now a club on site, which was fun to visit a few times. Right next door is a great taco snack bar—perfect for late-night bites. Included Excursions One of the best parts of Hotel Xcaret is that all excursions are included. Since this was our third visit and we stayed only 6 days, we limited how many we did. We enjoyed: Xcaret Park (spent a few hours, covered about half the park); took the boat from hotel to the park Xsenses Xplor Fuego (kids loved the new water slide) We also did Xoximilco. While many people seemed to be having a great time, our experience depended heavily on the group and guide. Unfortunately, our boat was pretty quiet, and our guide had low energy, which really affected the vibe. Some people may love it, but if we went again, we would skip Xoximilco. Would We Return? 100% YES!! Hotel Xcaret is a paradise—a truly one-of-a-kind resort with outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, endless activities, and pretty good value when you factor in the included parks and excursions. We can’t wait to return again!!!

    Vacation of a Lifetime

10/10 would recommend! My sister and I stayed in Casa Fuego at Hotel Xcaret México mid-Jan2026 and had such an incredible vacation. We especially enjoyed the Fuego restaurant as well as the rooftop pool. Our incredible vacation would not have been possible without the outstanding service by Juan Pablo Vázquez, Alejandro Barrera, and Brandon Albavera. They were always available for any question we had and personally escorted us to wherever we needed or wanted to go. I can't recommend them enough - if you get the chance to vacation there, I would urge you to request them.

    Xcaret tours

What and amazing trip. This time we took full advantage of the all fun inclusive tours. There's were so many things to experience. We went on the Chichén itzá, Tulum and Xenotes tours. The guides were so informative and passionate about what they do. Braulio (sorry Brownie for the spelling) was amazing, he is so good at what he does, and so informative, just a great person and passionate about his job. Really enjoyed him and Payola both! Alberto at the Xenotes was fantastic, we had a great time! Thanks to the entire team!

A trip to paradise—Hotel Xcaret Mexico

I vacationed at Hotel Xcaret Mexico with my son and his family. At my request, the hotel made sure that our rooms were close together to enhance our visit—in doing so they upgraded my room to include a butler—what a treat. Both Carolina and Julieta were extremely pleasant and made sure that all my needs were met. All the staff went out of their way to help me when I needed directions to various activities. My room was perfect for my time away. Daily bottles of water were sent to my room. A bar fridge with beer, sparkling water and juice and snacks were replenished as it was used. I had been anxious about traveller’s diarrhea before I came and I needn’t have worried. Most of our meals were taken at the buffet restaurants, due the ages of the children—they were all excellent, reflecting different areas of Mexico. We are definitely planning to come back in the next year or two.
