Very nice short trip

Do not put too much into recent bad reviews. Check it out yourself. We were there for 3 1/2 full days and cannot say enough for the resort. First off, it is quite lovely and well maintained. I asked for and got a room on the ground floor. Having seen the ocean and beach many times, was looking for less walking and less elevator time. Room clean and modern and large. All of the staff was very courteous and helpful and that included the front desk, maids, food and bar service people. There are lots of pools and we never and I mean never had trouble finding lounge chairs in the pool or beach area. All vendors were kept at a distance so you only had to deal with them if you wished. The food in all restaurants, was not stellar quality but we were not paying stellar prices. There was a lot of food always and it was quite good. The swim up bar was always busy but very well staffed. The one downside is that there were lots of kids. They were reasonably well behaved and not allowed in the swim up bar pool--which is why we hung out there.. The one thing to take special note of is that when they say check out is 11:00, they mean 11:00. We came back a little after that and found ourselves locked out. If you need to stay even a little longer, be sure to let reception know so you can get approval. Even though we did not do so, they were helpful and let us back in our room and allowed us extra time.

Our stay was fantastic best weather all week

We had a fantastic time. Everything was what I expected it to be. The staff in the dinning rooms was very friendly. The swim up bar staff was very polite and friendly. We had one problem, someone had a baby and it had a poo poo diaper and they wiped some of it off and then put her in the hot tub to rinse her off. The staff stayed around to run the kids out the adult pool. If the price is right I would think about returning for another week and would like a room on the top floor for a nice view. The elevator from the lower lobby took too long to get all the people to their floor because they were too small. The resort was at 110 capacity. Overall the trip was fantastic and the price was fair.
