Great time

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip from start to finish. We stayed in an ocean view room and it was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Our first trip to Cabo!

During our stay at Sandos Finisterra we had a blast! The sports & entertainment team was the highlight of most of our days spent there. Isaac, Gloria & Fernando were awesome and made sure we had plenty of fun by the pool & during the night activities. The service was overall average, the team was very respectful and never made us feel uncomfortable at anytime. A few things that stood out to us were: the amount of time we waited on our room service to arrive at our door. We probably waited an hour and a half for the food we ordered. I understand that it is a huge resort but still should not be that long of a wait. We also called and went to the front desk multiple times to have the mini fridge refilled and it took them 2 days to get it refilled. Another thing was the food was very bland and seemed somewhat old. Maybe some extra attention on those things would be helpful to the overall experience of the resort!

Great value

The resort was beautiful. The food was more than adequate. We enjoyed the fish tacos and the beverages at the cupcake bistro. Our room was comfortable and extremely clean although a few more lights would have been good and an explanation on how to use the shower helpful. The times we did go to the nightly entertainment was great. except for the disco lounge being a bit lame. The bell hops are fabulous calling cabs immediately, although the resort is 5 minutes from the marina, you must walk up a large hill and cross a busy street. Upon check in we were greeted by someone with a glass of champagne and encouraged to participate in the 90 minute time share presentation. We didn't buy the time share mostly because of the lay out of the resort. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen and the bathroom. The time share rooms did not have a kitchen. I would give this place a 10 but fora few things..... its not very handicap accessible and to reach the spa for a massage, one must climb several stairs. Not bad for me but for someone in their advanced years might have trouble. Also they have a policy that if you lose the room key bracelet you get charged $100. My friend's fell off her and the front desk clerk was being a bit firm but the manager worked with us and resolved the problem. The Amstar transportation agent was not at all helpful but this was not the hotels fault.

Amazing views

This resort gets 100 palms for its views, they are incredible. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pools are great and lots of fun throughout the day. The nightly shows/events are fun and entertaining (don't miss Mexican night, the white party, and Michael Jackson night). You cannot swim in the beach, currents are too strong, but that goes for most resorts in Los Cabos. The room could use updating however, the bed was amazing comfortable. The food is good (Italian restaurant is the best for dinner in my opinion) but it would be nice to have one or two more options (they have 4 put they are not all open all the time). Breakfast is always delicious and if you're not in the mood to leave your room room service is included and comes in handy. The coffee at the cupcake shop is delicious but don't touch the cupcakes, they are not good at all. The pastries in the cold case are decent. As with most alcohol in Mexico, mixed drinks are watered down, stick to beer, champagne, wine, or a straight up drink if you actually want to get a buzz...better yet buy your own bottle at the airport, duty free, and make your own drinks with the mixers available in your room fridge (sodas, beer, water). Don't forget to tip, you get better service and the workers really appreciate it. We really enjoyed this resort and will definitely be back again.

What's to Love

It's an all-inclusive Beach Eden at the tip of beautiful Baja. Swoon.

Releasing the munchkins to the kids' club while chillaxing in the hot tub, mojito in hand.

The jaw-dropping panoramic views from Spa Sandos, a luscious escape from reality.

Between December and April, watching the whales off shore. It's pure magic.

What We'd Change

The views of the surf from the seven-acre beach are stunning, but you can't swim here. Fortunately, Sandos Finisterra offers three sprawling freshwater pools.

Why You Should Go

The airport is just 35 minutes from the airport. You'll have a cocktail in your mitts pronto.

Don't miss visiting the epic El Arco - it's a must-do and just a seashell's throw away.

Be sure to hit the aerial walkway where you can gaze upon some crazy cool waterfalls.

Downtown Cabo and the marina are a short stroll away.
