This was our 3rd trip to this property , and have booked with Cheapcarribean previously. To start , we had booked 3 1/2 months in advance , but our seats on plane (from San Diego) were in the very last row of the plane. I was not thrilled with seats , considering how far in advance we had booked. Second , we know this is a "time share" resort , but upon arrival were not allowed to finish our check in and start our vacation until after being talked to by a salesman for at least 25 minutes. We explained we had attended the longer "presentation/sales" meeting in the past , and stated numerous times were not interested in attending again , we had to say no more than a dozen times before being " released" by salesman and finish check in. 3rd , the better rooms are reserved for "owners" , (understandable) but our room overlooked the broken tile roof below , and service yard of next door property. Service staff is excellent , especially pool waiters. But food in buffet restaurants has gone downhill since our last stay at this property. Overall , a decent value for the price. Just be ready to be treated like potential time share clients with a hard sales pitch

Highly Recommended

We spent 5 days of lots of fun and relaxation. Good check-in process, friendly staff; room was above average but a bit worn. Bathroom had a bad smell. Great water pressure; shower leaks and floods bathroom floor. Food options are excellent and quality is above average. Breakfast in particular was fresh and generous in options. Drinks in general are of low quality. Orange juice is awful. Fantastic service at dining room areas, very friendly staff. Pool is nice but due to warm weather is warm and salty. Beautiful beach but nor safe for swimming. Lunch buffet restaurant was okay; bland food but plenty of options at average quality. Dining better than lunch, make sure you make reservations for a la carte restaurants. Try the spa! Great massage. Overall a great experience, very nice family atmosphere. Great customer service. Other advise: Make sure you use BBB car rental services. (By the airport) Hasse and scam free. Beware of scams at gas stations. Avoid Pemex!!

What's to Love

It's an all-inclusive family fiesta on the beach with everything you want - and more.

The kids club with buckets of activities and the Noah's Ark waterpark for splishy-splashyness.

Descending into blissdom during a stress-smashing massage at the spa.

The relaxing pool for the adults where doing absolutely nothing is the main activity.

What We'd Change

The beach at Royal Solaris Cabo isn't swimmable, but it's a beautiful and romantic setting for a walk. And the whirlpools are a great place to just relax.

Why You Should Go

The airport is just 15 minutes from the airport. You'll have a cocktail before you can say "beach."

Don't miss horseback riding and whale watching between December and April. Bucket Listers, for sure.

Taking a boat ride out to get a gander of El Arco is a must-do. (No, really, it is.)

Bring your own thermal cup to the pool - they'll fill it. Bottoms up, beach lovers.
