Jan 11, 2026100% Will visit the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabo again.
My Wife and I have travelled to many All-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, but this is our first time at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabo. I booked our trip for 5 nights along with another couple through Expedia.com, which worked out great. We booked an Ocean View Villa ( 1013 sq ft. and it includes a separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms) for both rooms. When we arrived via Cabo Shuttle service to the resort, we were greeted by many bellhops and offered a drink of choice. Signing in was quick and since I am a Platinum member with Expedia, that included a room upgrade if available. Well to our surprise, the front desk honored the Expedia upgrade and upgraded both of our rooms to an Owners Ocean Front Villa with both rooms in the same building. We were quickly shuttled to our room by one of the many Golf Carts available to take you around the resort. Our Room was on the 4th floor, and we had the most incredible view of the Ocean, which was less than 10ft. away. The other couple was on the second floor, just below us. The villa was amazing with a separate room with a king bed, jacuzzi type tub, walk in shower, and tons of storage. We then noticed that we had a second restroom with a toilet and sink. Always a nice touch. The living room had a big couch, kitchen table and several chairs. We had 2- 55' Smart TV's also. We had a full kitchen and a full-sized Refrigerator that was stocked with and unbelievable number of drinks and snacks. Every day the fridge was refilled with 4 kinds of caned Mexican beers, 4 types of soda including Diet Coke and Coke zero, 4 bags of potato chips, granola bars, and Oreo cookies. We also had unlimited bottles of water. There were fresh packets of coffee also. The resort is spectacular with beautiful views from what appeared to be every room. There are also swimming pools everywhere and several hot tubs. Food was one of the bigger surprises. There are 9 restaurants including a breakfast buffet. We were only able to eat at 8 of them and each one was excellent. The food at this resort was much better that any of the all-inclusive resorts we have been to in the past 15 yrs of travelling. Me being a beer drinker once in a while, I was pleasantly surprised that this resort doesn't have cheap Mexican draft beer as their only choice. Every bar supplied caned beer, and I believe I saw bottled beer also. That alone is a reason to come back. The resort had most of the popular brands of Liquor that most people drink in America. For you sea food lovers and steak lovers, every restaurant had many choices. We hung out mostly at the members oceanfront swimming pool, which was heated every morning. Perfect temperature. The resort is rather large, and it can be walked, but there are a lot of hills, so the resort has over a dozed golf carts that will pick you up and take you to wherever you want to go. A word about the employees. My wife and I have never met a group of employees that appear to be so happy to be working at this resort. Several of them we talked to had stated that they have been at the resort well over 10 years. We found everyone to be so friendly and tried to help us in any way. We were never felt pressured to tip them, but of course we did every day. Not one employee said anything or did anything negative towards us. My wife and I and our friends are already talking about booking the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabo again next year. We would rate this resort a 10/10. Just a few F.Y.I's. The resort is about 35 minutes from the Los Cabo airport. There is a shuttle that can take you to downtown Cabo for $15 each round trip. The bus or the bellhops will supply you with the times. The hotel is in a gated community, so it is very safe. Even though the hotel is over 25 yrs old, you would never know it. We have been to resorts that are less than 3 yrs old and looked much older than the Americana. They do have a "Club Vacation" presentation that was offered when we arrived, but we declined and never heard an employee mention it to us again all week. Every restaurant had menu items that sound very exotic, but you should give everything a try at least once. Every waiter explained everything for us before we ordered. Sorry if I rambled, but this resort left a great impression on us.

A Wonderful Family Christmas Trip
We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. This was our second time here (first time was an adult birthday trip in February 2025, this trip was wtih family) and we had a great time on both trips. A couple stand outs: The menus seemed a little different this time around, but we wonderd if it was due to beingthe week between Christmas and New Years and limiting options due to the number of guests, the quality of the food was still great, although the buffet breakfast could be improved. We much preferred the room service breakfasts! All other food was great- all evening resturants and the poolside grill were fantastic. We want to give a special shout out to Carlos, who was our pool side server. His customer service and professionalism truly made a positive impact on our trip. He was kind, attentive, and even brought us drink refills without us asking- truly anticipating our needs! Thank you Carlos for making our days as relaxing as possible!

Great service!
Reggie was our favorite server! Consistently nice and helpful. Resort is beautiful, clean, and well managed. Golf cart rides are offered around the property throughout the day, making it fun and easy to travel from rooms to pools and restaurants. We especially loved getting to know our favorite driver, Hugo!

Fernando makes amazing cocktails!
We had a great visit and especially enjoyed our service at the lobby bar. Fernando made amazing cocktails and provided superior service.
