The hotel was beautiful with great views and amenities. The food was very good and 24 hour room service was a great bonus. Our suite was incredible with a very comfortable bed. Miguel was incredible. He anticipated all of our needs and made breakfasts our favorite meal.

Feb 19, 2026Anniversary Trip Without Kids (Feb 2026)
This was our 30 year anniversary trip and overall it was "really good" (perhaps just because I'm picky, overall we were happy with our stay). We were delayed a day by airline issues... so when we checked in the VIP Services was very helpful to get us checked in (very appreciative of that), but it got tiring soon after when we were getting sold on the Vacation Club. Especially when we were already delayed a day/up since 2AM two days in a row/wearing the same clothes for 48 hours. I almost felt sorry for the sales guy. Beyond that... we enjoyed our trip immensely. The resort was beautiful, and didn't seem very busy, so we had no issues with long lines at restaurants, and while we didn't have children with us, we were never bothered by families (actually we enjoyed watching everyone enjoy themselves). When we showed up on Sunday it was hard to get a lounge chair anywhere... but the rest of the week we had no issues getting chairs. People we talked to around the resort said you either "eat at 5:30 (when the restaurants open) or 8:30 (due to no reservations)" ... we are late eaters (we would show up at 7PM), and if we waited it at all, it wasn't bothersome. We particularly enjoyed the Barefoot Grill for drinks and lunch during the day, the Seaside Grill for breakfast and lunch (although we were very disappointed when we had dinner there), and Oceana and Portofina for dinner. We had Preferred Club benefits and their breakfast was great (no wait/great food quality albeit limited) and we also went to the World Cafe with their buffet and much larger food options and liked that as well. Other than the Preferred Club breakfast (which was very good), I don't think being "preferred club" was worth it. There is a preferred club area on the beach, but the availability is very limited and filled up quickly, and the "top shelf alcohol" didn't excite us. Anything we wanted to drink was available at other bars. The benefit we experienced was the expedited check in (very appreciated considering our delay) and the lack of any wait for breakfast. Family fun at it's best!
Beautiful location and super friendly staff. We enjoyed whale watching right from the pool! Wonderful food, fun for the whole family. I highly recommend. We have already booked a return trip in the fall.

We will be back!
Our first time at a Dreams and loved it. The lobby and restaurants are recently renovated and so nice. Love the music off the lobby each evening and morning yoga. The entertainment staff worked so hard and did great events for the Superbowl and Valentines -shout out to Brian and Christian. Diana and Roni at Desires were SO fun with karaoke with our family:) Thank you Sergio at Oceana for the best service.

A Perfect Redux
This was our second time to Dreams Los Cabos. We loved it so much the first time we thought we'd go back and see if the experience was the same. It was just as good the second time as the first. The resort size is perfect,not too much walking not too close. We love the adults only pool and the family friendly pool and their different atmospheres. Food is great,drinks are excellent, pickleball and chess on the beach are perfect pastimes. I have never been to a hotel or resort with more friendly staff. I also want to give a shout out to Mauricio Lopez who works at the vacation desk who bent over backwards to make our experience great whether it was related to the resort or not.
