  Outstanding Family Experience

  We had an absolutely wonderful time at Dreams Los Cabos. While we were traveling at a less busy time of year, we did not experience the crowds or dining issues that many people commented on during the November and December holiday periods. If you download the Hyatt Inclusive Resort app, you can see restaurant hours, menus, activity schedules for both the resort and kids club - this was the info I kept trying to find out before we left! Our room was excellent, great view, clean, never saw any bugs. The pullout sofa is unique, not your average pullout at a hotel - it was a much softer foam mattress that folded over into a bed. Did not find the resort to be too loud to sleep. The food was quite good, in some cases exceptional (still thinking about the baja fish tacos poolside weeks later). Service was friendly, whether or not you decided to tip. (The front desk did not have small peso bills very often during our stay, just bring USD singles if you want to tip). We were traveling with our 3yo, and were easily seated at the beginning of evening dinner service. Also, the pool bars served food until near 5pm local time and the 24/7 snack counter had sandwiches and fruit cups all the time. Our child had an absolute blast at the kids club, which had plenty of fun and unique activities (thanks Andy & Tomy, Pao, Sandy & Clau!). We previously stayed at the Ziva Los Cabos, and this resort is about 1/3 the size, had a more boutique feel. Comparable in quality otherwise, but a bit more beach-focus here with a whole section of chairs on the sand. We will definitely be back!

  Overall a great resort ,except for the buffet which for me is a highlight of a vacation.

  First time in Cabo. I loved it! The weather was perfect until the sun went down then it becomes cool so a sweater or light jacket is a must. The resort is a smaller, older resort but was clean and fairly well kept, the resort employees were always pleasant , the beach is beautiful,no seaweed to be found. Only a few loungers at the beach but we had no problem . Swimming in the ocean is not allowed. The pool area was busy but by afternoon we could find loungers.The food was good. Only 4 restaurants and two pools. However one restaurant was always closed so really only 3 restaurants for dinner. Only a small slide for children. The most disappointing was the breakfast buffet and lunch buffet, the presentation was of low standard , the choice of items were ok but not the usual large breakfast most resorts have. The lunch buffet was worse and there was no dinner buffet. This was frustrating for some as they had to wait over 1 hour for the restaurants. The restaurant s are first come first serve.

  Better options available at lower prices

  No transportation provided. Charge 10k pesos as a deposit. No reservations, but lots of empty tables with 20-30 min waits. Terrible buffet. Minimal options and you still make ppl wait when plenty of tables available. Food undercooked. Ordered filet steak at Seaside and got a flat iron steak flipped over. Not great entertainment compared to other all inclusive vacations we have been on. I can't believe you were charging for seats at the Super Bowl. Ridiculous. I would expect more from a Hyatt.

  Dreams ? No! Nightmare ? Yes!

  We’re here now, and Dreams is anything but a dream. I’ve tried to send this before , so I’ll sum up my major complains hoping it’ll go through. WiFi is hard to access , but no help available. Once we figured it out, it was unresponsive, slow and sporadic. We work remotely and are forced to use cellular and pay out carrier . The charges are adding up with each text asking for payment for another session. . Restaurants are difficult to get into. No reservations, long lines and waits without any options for grabbing a quick bite . Portofino said no tables for 45 minutes unless we purchase an expensive bottle of wine. We found that very shady and waited the 45 minutes only to experience poor service . Meals came at different times so some in our party were eating dessert while others were waiting to be served. That was our one time attempting to eat dinner here, so we will have to go into town for the rest of our dinners. The limited variety and mediocre at best quality of food at Dreams along with the unendurable wait to be seated leave us with no options , and we’ll have to pay for transportation in order to eat dinner at a reasonable hour, with much better food. My advice is to read beyond the first positive reviews research and don’t believe what you see in photos or promises.

  Family Vacation Bliss

  We enjoyed everything about the resort - the preferred beach area, our guest room, the restaurants and especially the staff - all were wonderful. We highly recommend this all inclusive resort!!
