Quiet and Relaxing

By far the quietest room we have had in Mexico. Check in was fast. Food was great, we only ate at the buffet so we cannot speak for the other restaurants. The buffet had different foods every night, but also had some of the same things so I think every one would be satisfied. You could always eat off the kids food and get pizza or chicken nuggets. They always had fresh fruits and salads, tofu for those that don't eat meat. Breakfast buffet was awesome, my husband got an omelette everyday and had a different guy every time and they were all awesome. Fresh pineapple most days. Scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, you name it they had it. Pancakes, French toast. Ok enough about the food. The beach was great. We never had to look for chairs or worry about not having one. We usually got out to the beach by 10am and there were always plenty of chairs. They have a waitress who comes around for drink orders starting around 11. Bars open around 10. We took a taxi into town for 20.00 there and 20.00 back. There are cruise ships that come in everyday but Sunday. The Flamingos are always in the pond, the peacocks and peahens that walk all around the resort. Iguanas like to sun them selves. We were in hut 4202 and when in our hut it was very quiet. It was a little walk to the beach or the buffets. Drinks depended on where you went. some were stronger than others but they were all good. We went on a Jeep tour to see the ruins and go snorkeling. The ruins were interested, the snorkeling was ok. Overall we had a great time, relaxing sitting on the beach and watching the sunset too. I would love to go back again.

Very friendly staff

The best thing in this resort was the staff. They were very attentive and very friendly. During their meal time, they come in and sit with the guests and their conversation gives us a different view of the resort. We got to talk to Carla who is a dancer (among many other things) at the resort. Even though her English was limited, she was not afraid to mingle with us at our table. Julia at the dive shop was very helpful with everything that I needed and would answer any questions that I had. The children's club was great. For anyone with young children (our grandson is 10), you can rest assured that you can leave your children with them the the staff will keep them occupied with many fun activities while you go out and enjoy yourselves with your own activities at the resort. You can always come back and check on your children at any time. The only thing that we were not so happy about was the humidity in the rooms. The sheets on the bed always felt moist. I would think that they would come up with a way to keep the rooms dry. We were there with our family of 8 and we all had a great time.

Awesome resort in Cozumel

We just vacationed at the Iberstar in Cozumel and had a great time!! The food was surprisingly good!!! The Steak house was the BEST!!! The staff at Iberstar was very friendly and always willing to help or know if something was wrong! The free entertainment at night was great! The fire show was awesome!!! The room itself was very cute and included all that we needed for a beach resort! The beachfront was quite rocky so don’t forget to bring water shoes!!! Otherwise they have a great pier that you can enter the water by!! I would definitely go back to this resort and would refer it to anyone that likes to scuba dive or just likes to chill out at the beach!!!

cozumel trip

5 nights at Iberostar Cozumel. Nice resort-very pleasant helpful staff, very clean resort. Plenty of seating -at beach, by pool, in dining areas. Food very good, great variety. Snorkeling is VERY Good-at resort and up and down the beach. No bugs in our room.Good hot showers. AC worked fine, actually too well, as we could not set it lower. We took local taxi to and from resort-$25 to resort and $30 from resort ( pay more when taxi is at resort).Cheaper than Amstar shuttle and got us to resort right away and gave us more time at resort on our last day. We would do this trip again in an instant!!
