Fantastic!
Great vacation! We spent a lot of time at the pool and our favorite servers were Carlos and Mauricio. They were polite, friendly and fun. It does make a vacation when you meet wonderful people who treat their customers as family and friends. Thank you Carlos and Mauricio for making our pool days perfect. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. So hard to choose with all the great dishes offered. Great staff. Can't wait to come back!

“you get what you pay for”
The saying “you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more accurate when it comes to Villa Del Palmar. Despite the appealing photos on their website, this resort doesn’t actually have a usable beach — the waves crash right up to the headwall, leaving no space to relax by the shore. Our ocean-view room looked nice, but the experience was far from relaxing. Construction noise and loud courtyard music played constantly. The air conditioning barely worked, even after two repair attempts. The tub faucet was broken, the bedside table was uneven and unusable, the clock didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi was so slow that my iPad was practically useless. At the pool — since the beach wasn’t an option — staff even removed our umbrella while we were swimming. The restaurants were mediocre, mostly serving bar food, and nothing stood out as memorable. For a quieter, more enjoyable experience, walk over to the Estancia next door and dine at La Casona — it’s a completely different atmosphere. Overall, Villa Del Palmar is a definite pass; there are plenty of better options in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tequila Tasting at Villa del Palmar
After 20 years of escaping to the Villa Group resorts in Cabo, I finally discovered one of my favorite experiences — the tequila tasting with Daniel at Tortugas Terrace. His passion and knowledge made the tasting of blanco, reposado, and añejo tequilas both fun and fascinating. We enjoyed colorful table settings, fruit pairings (reposado with pineapple is perfection!), and delicious bites presented by Jesus — guacamole, ceviche, and plantain with mole — turning the tasting into a full, flavorful lunch. At under $40 per person, this private experience was exceptional value and pure joy. The genuine hospitality of the team shines, as always. Don’t miss this spirited highlight on your next visit to Medano Beach!

Rodo and Toha are the best!
I had an amazing time by the pool, playing the activities and enjoying the great views. Careful with the pool, my dad cut his foot in it, they could fix little things like this. Rodo and Toha were great at running the activities and always keep you entertained!

2 weeks in Cabo
Vacation was good except for the fact that our 2 weeks were basically in a construction zone. It would have been nice to have been warned about that. Our room was great, the pool areas once finished were very nice. Alberto the pool concierge is a jem. He's very approachable, knowledgeable and always eager to chat wholeheartedly with the guests. When it comes to the pool area servers Nayeli is the best. She's always cheerful and always has time to listen our stories and eager to tell us some of her own Mexican life tales as well. Antonio, I think might be one of the hardest pool attendants that we've seen. Always going the distance to move an umbrella or find a lounger when it seems there's none to be found.
