Dec 10, 2025DON'T BUY THE VACATION PACKAGE!!
We had a lovely time at Villa Palmar and even purchased the package so we could return. It's the worst money I've ever spent in my life. We paid over $10,000 dollars for a slight discount on rooms at a small number of resorts. Book online through the site and you get way more amenities for only slightly more money. During the presentation they lie to you over and over about how easy it is to book, how many points it takes to book, how great it is to use Interval. None of it is true. It's absolutely not worth it. Go on the trip, have a great time. DON'T BUY THE PACKAGE NO MATTER HOW GREAT IT SOUNDS!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Del Palmar. We came on an all inclusive promotion and we were only there for 5 days total. Many kind people made our experience even better! Liliana from the buffet restaurant was so kind as was all the staff that served us! Jesus Mauricio was by the pool and took great care of us for a couple days. The activity staff (I’ll call them the young uns) were amazing! I played some volleyball in the pool and even did some crafts. Patty at the spa was very helpful in choosing some products and using the wonderful sauna and whirlpool! The dance team on Mexican night were wonderful and I even got to dance with one of the dancers as they made their way through the audience. I felt safe there and well taken care of. We used local taxis (all wonderful), also talked with the men on the beach who were selling souvenirs! One might say they were annoying…I thought they were great if you just get to know them! We ended up getting a few beautiful things from them as well! The views of the Arch were phenomenal! Short vacation but wonderful success! Room was kept clean and the housekeeping staff was also amazing and attentive to all we needed! Concierge service and bellmen were also helpful! Luis was kind enough to weigh our bags several times before we got to the airport! Thank you all!!😊

Memorable
Like always, we had amazing servers. Carlos at the pool was was attentive each and every day of our trip. We sat in his area everyday, he was personable and he knew what we wanted and brought it to us before we asked. Angel in the Sports Bar was super friendly. We looked forward to being served by him daily. Diaz at the Tortuga Pool Bar, was so much fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Palmar for another amazing trip your staff made it that much more memorable. We will be back.

Don't Let Instagram Scare You Away from A Great Vacation
I keep seeing videos warning tourists away from Mexico, but don’t let them scare you off from Villa del Palmar in Cabo. This elegant resort blends modern amenities with classic Mexican charm, and the service is exceptional from the moment you arrive. The arrivals team—Efrain, Eliel, Luis, and Armando—greets you warmly, handles your bags, and gets you settled quickly. By the time you’re ready for a poolside margarita, servers like Nico and Carlos are already anticipating what you need. Their “Yes, I can” attitude is real—they remember your name, your drink, and make you feel genuinely appreciated. Dining is another highlight. Breakfast with Liliana and Mariana (La Jefa) is always a joy. They’re thoughtful, warm, and incredibly attentive—when we had an emergency, Mariana had help on the scene instantly and checked on us the rest of the week. And then there’s Alberto Martin Rodriguez Garcia—the heart of the resort. More than a concierge, he ensures every detail of your stay is perfect, from reservations to day-to-day requests. He’s everywhere, always professional, always making sure the team is elevating the guest experience. Villa del Palmar isn’t just safe—it’s outstanding.

The dinner and show were great tonight. Our waiter was wonderful too.
Misael Taraza was an Amazing waiter. He was timely, thoughtful, and very kind. We greatly enjoyed his service. We look forward to him being our waiter again.
