    Last Minute Sister Get Away

    I just got back from a GREAT stay at the Riu Dunamar. All of the staff were friendly at check in. It took less than 10 minutes. The hotel is clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed the beach, pool/activities, drinks, and shows. The hotel is about an hour ride from the airport. The only thing lacking is the food at the restaurants. The buffet and food by the pool was good so we never went hungry. This is a family hotel so if you are looking for wild and crazy this is not the place for you but you do have the option to go to the adults only RIU parties. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, it was just what my sister and I needed for a short, relaxing, entertaining get away!

    The service was excellent, but the soundproofing of the rooms was very poor. We had to change rooms three times. The first time was because our room was close to the stage, and the Wednesday night party was so loud that the whole room was shaking. The second time was because our neighbors were having parties and getting drunk for several nights in a row, which was extremely noisy. As a result, we barely slept for three nights. However, the service was great, and the staff helped us change rooms each time.

    Upgrade the bedding and it will be worth the visit.

    Bedding is not comfortable, hard mattresses. Pools are fantastic, food was ok but the Steak House needs to improve on their steak option! Drink options were great and the place was very clean. I would not want to return to this resort though due to the beds being so hard. Upgrade the mattresses!
