Best Service
Family friendly resort. It is all about the people. Service was excellent! The spa was amazing! The guys running beach entertainment Moises, Oliver and Jorge (who might still be paddling to Miami) were the life of the party and got the guests involved. Bartenders were attentive and entertaining as well as the staff at the restaurants. The rooms were nice and my shower was like a firehose with the best water pressure ever.
All around great deal which I purchased a week ahead of time.
Thank you Oasis Palm!

Everything was going great until....
Everything was going great until my flight got delayed and nobody could help me with changing my flight. I lost 12hrs of my weekend trip. I suggest cheap Caribbean making better choices with airlines that are more trustworthy and not ones that are iffy. I had a good time at the resort but I lost 12 hrs of my trip. Nobody helped me recuperate this time even though it was not my fault.
Angie at the front desk was amazing. I would give Five Stars for her customer service and friendliness. She was the only reason I am writing the review. As far as the rest of the crew goes, they were horrible. At the restaurants the waiters and waitresses were just plain rude and unprofessional. The food was nasty. The only restaurant there that was ok was Los Agave. I couldn't find decent coffee in the morning. I has to walk 10 minutes to Starbucks to get coffee.

Pros n cons
The seats on the fly were bad super uncomfortable. When we arrived to the airport nobody was waiting for us . We had to go look for a taxi and ask information until a nice ladie (that works for the airport) not for amstar told us if we needed help I said yes so she guides us to where she thought it might of been , but came to find out we were never scheduled to be pick up. After we get to the hotel and we had to pay and extra fee . The room was nice ,but the beach was horrible ,not what we expected. Oasis palm was more for kids not a newlywed. Our water smell like poop for 2 days. Our view was not so great we had s street view more then beach view. What I reccomend for people who want to book thru cheap Caribbean is to make sure you get comfortable seat in the airplane , a nice view , and make sure you guys will be picked up and get the correct name of the company because I was never told amstar is the name in cancun mexico NOT cheap caribbeans. We paid a good amount of money and we where disappointed.

If kids stay and eat free at an all inclusive resort how do we go about air-fare?6 answers
Is their a sat price for their airfare?
8 years, 106 months ago
banannie
The childrens airfare will be the same amount as your airfare.. Best to book with Cheapcaribbean.
beckybnott
When you create your reservation online you still have to include your children on the hotel portion of the booking. Although the hotel portion is free, they will be charged for airfare, so our site will pull seats for everyone on the land reservation. You'll see a breakdown of the charges before you move ahead to book the reservation
JenCC
The airfare for the kids would be extra.

The price includes everything; but at this resort everything is not much; food is inedible, liquor poor, and service non existant. See my comments, if they print them.

If you are booking a package that will include airfare, hotel price (any All-Inclusive features they offer, if any) and taxes. The price may not include arrival or departure taxes however. To receive more information for what is included in a package pricing, please contact 1.800.915.2322.

Airfair including all taxes and fees, transportation to and from airport, room, unlimited food, unlimited drinks (including alcohol), tips, and use of pool and beach facilities. Not included were excursions to area sites such as Mayan ruins, caves, water parks, snorkeling at coral reefs, etc., nor transportation to shopping. However, the bus stops right outside the resort, comes by every two to five minutes, and only costs 80 cents per person to ride. Also, a safe to lock up valuables costs extra as does the internet. They charge $20 daily for an internet connection.
Merkle
My package, which I presume is the standard package, included airfare, transfers to and from hotel, room, all you can eat food, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is "standard" house brands, not top of the line, which you can pay for if you choose. It was a really great price deal for me!
TimfromMA
It includes all your meals at any time. The airfair from Fort Lauderdale, florida. The room is also included. You do have to pay some room taxes in addition.
foxyroxywillie
I would not purchase the Oasis Palm Beach all inclusive rate. Stay at The Oasis Cancun or The Grand Oasis instead. The all-inclusive rate includes all food and domestic beer and liquor at the resort. You can also travel to the Oasis Cancun and eat and drink until 6pm with the same band.

The all inclusive price includes airfare, room, meals, drinks, and entertainment within the hotel. The drinks include alcoholic beverages, but Corona seems to be the only beer offered.

All inclusive means, airfare, transport to and from the airport, the room, and all the food you can eat and drink you can drink. The drinks are middle class, no Patron, but not bad and worth it

Bottled water?9 answers
Do any of the all-inclusive resorts provide bottled water?
6 years, 85 months ago
Walker
Most all inclusive properties do include bottled water for drinking. Please also know that Cancun does have a very sophisticated water filtration system so the water that is used for making ice, cooking and rinsing vegetables is very safe for consumption.
KateHCC
Yea they do, but the rooms are sub-par
ZEEE
they do, but you have to ask for it! they wouldn't offer it or pu them in your room if you don't ask for it!

Tuluz
Yes, they all do. Most have free mini bars too, but not the Oasis Palm. You only get 2 bottles a day.
Tequila1
Yes,they will bring it to your room, as many bottles as you need at any time of the day.
Allegria
Me and my husband stayed at Oasis Palm recently and got 2 bottles of water in the room daily. That was it.
But if you go out the hotel and walk to the right, cross the brigde, and then cross the street, you will find a mini market, and a little farther down, a bigger store called OXXO where you can purchase water.
MorenaMia
Yes, and they leave about 4 bottles in your room every day.

Yes, they provide bottled water. And all the snack/alcohol stands provide water from a large jug (one that you would find in an office)

What is the cost per person to up grade to get to eat at all restaurants and what other things need to be upgraded.?6 answers
What is the cost to upgrade for all restaurants and what else will need to be upgraded when we arrive
6 years, 78 months ago
Oasis palm
Please be advised that you would need to check directly with the resort upon arrival regarding this information.
MariaCC
Since we moved to as different Oasis hotel we payed $20 per person per day but every Oasis has a different price to upgrade
red84
We paid $40 a person back in December 2012. We got to eat wherever we wanted, use another pool and lounge chairs on the beach and a nicer room in the renovated portion of the resort with a nicer lobby. If you don't have young kids, it is worth it but otherwise, some of the restaurants you get upgrades for, don't allow children.
denis10
$30 per person per day
Travelot
Dont know about the cost. But please take into consideration that not all restaurants will open if the hotel managers feel there are not enough guests staying there.
So at Oasis Palm there are 2 buffets, but one closed half of the time we were there because of that reason ( not enough guests).
So if you upgrade to Grand Oasis Palm, you might end up in that situation where not all restaurants are open.
MorenaMia
It is about $45USD per person per day to upgrade. You also have to pay more for higher premium alcohol (Crown Royal) and wines (Pinot Grigio) If you need access to a safe that is an additional upgrade charge.

The minimum age to check-in at any Oasis Resort is 18.
Student/Youth Travelers are defined by the resort as any guest under the age of 25 traveling without their legal parent/guardian. Please be advised that Spring Breakers and Student/Youth GROUPS between the ages of 18-24 are not accepted at this resort. This policy applies year round. If you do not adhere to the Student/Youth Policy, your reservation will be canceled and you will be notified accordingly. Resorts reserve the right to deny check-in.
Please call cheapcaribbean.com to book your reservation at 1-800-915-2322 as we would need more details to answer your question.

I am 38 and booked two rooms. I put my 18 year old's in their own room. If you're 18-24 now and the 25 & 27 year old you can book it, but I have a feeling you would like it better elsewhere. LizCC
There are two resorts on the same property- one is the Palm and one is the Grand. The Grand is an upgrade and worth the price for a nicer room and access to all of the restaurants. The Oasis Company does have a couple more resorts in Cancun and one in Tulum. The beach at the Oasis Cancun (other side of town) is bigger, although we have enjoyed both resorts. They have another adult only resort which I have not seen.
KMorris
Oasis palm is the lowest end, not much to offer in way of fun. The grand is next door and has more amenities, better restaurants etc. I believe oasis cancun is the best one. Not much for beach parties, pretty family friendly. At oasis palm, there is a Captain Hook booze cruise for $90 pp. I
didn't do it but looked like a good time at night.
Sunbum42
a lot the grand oasis is NICE the Palm is a family resort, not nearly as nice as the palm
MunroeE
The Grand Oasis and the Oasis Palm are next to each other. It's a one minute walk. The oasis Cancuan is located ( so Im told), on the Atlantic Ocean where as the other two are on the Caribbean.
GoBills
Oasis Palm and Oasis Cancun are the basic and the Grand Oasis Palm and Grand Oasis Cancun are the upgrades. With the basic you do not get all the restaurants and bars. The Oasis Palm hotels are in the bay and the Oasis Cancun are on the ocean. Much more beautiful. We visited the Oasis Cancun for a day and enjoyed it much more. Food was better, the pool was better and it was much livelier. More young people there.
luv2trvlnc
The PALM OASIS is 'low rent' - one star -hotel dirty / tacky / crowded.

There is a safe in the room, but you need to pay a daily fee, which wasn't much. And there is a mini bar...you will be charged at checkout. Water is free though

The safe is in the room and the charge was $7 per day. The refrigerator is in the room and can be stocked with soda, beer, candy, and there is a charge for that. Our fridge didn't have anything in it but a few sodas and we didn't drink them, so not sure of the charge. We stored water in it. The hotel did provide free bottled water.

There is a fee for the safe. The minibar has a fee for the Oasis Palm, but it may be included for the Grand Oasis Palm. The water bottles are free though.

If you stay at the Oasis Palm, there is not a refrigerator in the room at all and you cannot get any ice in the hotel either. The resort offers bars open as late as midnight and they do have a swim up bar. If you have any further questions or need help booking, please call and speak to one of our Beachologists at 1-800-915-2322.
TimCC
Yes, there is a swim up bar and there is entertainment every evening and it was WONDERFUL. We saw fire dancers, belly dancers/circus show and a latin dance show. All top notch.
bellyd
Yes, there's a swim up bar and there's stuff going on most every night. Mariachi band and a regular band most nights. Although, if you're looking to "party", this ain't the place.
CoachDave48

Hows the nightlife at oasis palm all inclusive?7 answers
I heard grand oasis is better but i already booked oasis palm. I was wosnering if you can visit other hotels at night for club and stuff?

Please check with the resort directly for the most up to date information regarding day passes for the night club. If you have any further questions, you may contact the resort directly or call and speak to one of our Beachologists at 1-800-915-2322.
TimCC
The Grand Oasis is better (found out after the fact myself). The nightly Mariachi band is awesome! They usually share 30 min. shifts with a more traditional band, both were very good.
The Oasis Palm is the "party side" where the Grand Oasis Palm is the "not party side." There was a fire show and a magic show while we were there, both were pretty good.
Good luck!
CoachDave48

Kids do not always stay free, this depends on what specials the resort is running at the time you book for your dates of travel. For more details on this pricing, please call in to 800-915-2322.

Currently, a child traveling with two adults would stay and eat free at the Oasis Palm. This is subject to change at any time however.

california
Every resort has different things they do for Honeymooners. As this is something that can vary based on your dates of travel and what's available, we recommend reaching out to the resort directly for more information.
JeannieCC
I don't think it would be a good idea for honeymooners. Perfect when you have some children.

Left your children with the babysitter inside the hotel(Mexico), is safe?3 answers
They offered the babysitting, but we have to pay separated, how was that and i want to be sure is safe. What the procedure and persons?

New Jersey
Yes it is safe, the staff is experienced and qualified to handle the young ones.. You'll have to check with the hotel directly on the procedures and hours.
CCGreg
The did not
Matatan711
I didn't see that option available. We were with our 5-year-old, and the only option available was to leave the kids in the kids zone which is small. You need to fill an extensive form every time you do, and you can't actually leave too long, they ask you to be around to see if they are hungry, or thirsty, or needs to use the bathroom, or a diaper change, they can't eat inside either...
