Worst Vacation Ever Grand Oasis Cancun
Grand Oasis Cancun........ First let me tell all of you that I have been to Mexico over 50 times in that last 25 years. My Family has been going to Mexico for Christmas every year for over 20 years. So we are professionals. Never before have we experienced such a Horrible location. The rooms are Filthy, the halls are filthy, everything is just plain dirty. Rooms were never cleaned, had to bribe a maid to get clean sheets and towels because " We were not on her list". 2 Restaurants, Steak House & Italian need reservations, but 7 days to get a reservation, Ridiculous!! BTW. they are empty most of the time.... But if you buy a $200 lobster, they get you right in. If you do not upgrade to Black, which is an additional $56 per person per day, you can only eat at the Buffet, you can only get drinks at a few bars and can only swim in designated areas. The Buffet is the same every single day. No change and is food I would not feed my enemies. If you expect coffee in the morning Plan to get it yourself. The staff literally walked around us. Entertainment...... Wait there really is NONE. 1 show at 730, then maybe something at 9 if you can find a seat. Again, black bracelets can see better show. Cannot go to Lobby bar, because it also is Privileged. If someone gave me this trip as a gift, I would Re-gift it to someone I do not like. Horrible from Beginning to end.

Bookers beware
Failed to read the reviews before we booked. Unless you are a college kid on a budget sterr clear of this place. It is packed and very very outdated. We checked out within an hour of arriving and found a much better place to save our trip. Please think long and hard about booking this place. It is lower end of the spectrum quality wise and you will be disappointed if you expect anything more.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM GRAND OASIS CANCUN!
STAY FAR AWAY FROM GRAND OASIS CANCUN! We come to Cañcun every year. This is the absolute WORST resort in Cañcun. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. We got a last minute "deal" and took a chance. NEVER AGAIN! 1) We could not get reservations to any of the restaurants. Only one night wa s available on the last night of our five night stay. 2) The restaurants that did not require reservations had at least a two hour wait. 3) Only one bartender at every bar. There's a long line to get a drink, no matter which bar you go to. I tip my bartender so he will give me better service which works. Most bars do not make frozen drinks due to lack of blenders. 4) Rooms are old and need updating. Toilet does not flush #2. Shower is either scalding hot or freezing cold water. You got to fiddle with it for five minutes to get it warm. 5) Staff is not very helpful. I wouldn't say rude but definitely do not go out of their way to help you. 6) Good Job to Beach staff. They do a good job with activities.

⭐️ One of the worst resort experiences I’ve had – NOT worth it
This resort is completely oversold and overcrowded. There are WAY too many people for the amount of services they offer. Making restaurant reservations is nearly impossible because everything is fully booked—apparently due to overselling the resort. We were told we’d have black bracelets, which are supposed to be the “best,” yet they include almost nothing. It feels like a scam. I’ve been here for 2 days, and already had to pay extra just to get basic things. At the pool, if you’re not up at 5am reserving chairs with towels, you’re out of luck. We came down at 8am and there were zero available chairs, only empty chairs “saved” with towels. I actually had to pay to get chairs at the pool, which is unbelievable at an all-inclusive resort. No one gives you consistent information—every staff member tells you something different. The only way to get help is by paying people under the table, which should NEVER be the case at a resort you already paid for. I’m stuck here for 6 more days, and I already regret choosing this place. Do NOT recommend. It is absolutely not worth the money. What’s the point of paying for a resort when nothing works and you have to pay extra for basic things like eating and sitting down? Save your money and stay somewhere else. We actually have 3 rooms, 2 in playa 2 (3318, 3514) and one in playa 1 (1310).

The staff are lovely, however, the hotel needs a lil retouch to bring it to date, and pls update the website to reflect
Kevin the Host/ Bartender / Waiter was such an amazing guy. He understood our needs and even anticipated them. Always serving with a smile and leaving us laughing. All staff should be trained to his level, as basic. Such a wonderful person with a warm heart and contagious smile. Keep smiling Kevin 😃
