The cart bar tender, Enrique makes some of the best drinks I've had at any bar, super friendly and accommodating to your drink desires, we specifically ordered the pineapple/habenaro margarita (not too sweet) and it was perfect, some sweet with heat! Looking forward to locating him as we progress through our trip.

Very average resort. Very dated in certain areas. Service is inconsistent. Pools are in bad shape, the only bar thats open later is lobby bar that is extremely undersized and always busy at night. Food is decent, maybe 3.5 out of 5. Entertainment the same. Location is best part of this resort. Overall 3.2 for me just very average and most likely will never stay here again. Edit: The longer I stay here the worst it gets. App is not accurate and schedule for the shows is inconsistent, app or schedule would advertise the show and it would never happen. They advertise room service until 1am but its disabled in the app by 12:30. Aperantly one of the employees hinted they expect you to order by 12 or 12:15 the latest. So we were stuck eating coffee shop sandwiches. Also we have a baby with us and buffet did not have working a/c per our server, also no creamer for coffee available only sugar. Whatever that meant. A/c generally is hard to get to as the lobby is not cooled either and its scorching hot here especially for babies. Sports bar is a bar advertised to be late night option but the bar is actually never open, you have to grab a drink from lobby bar that is pack most of the time later at night as thats the only option. All in all these are things that came to me on the fly there is many more weird or inconsistent things about this property and we are well traveled family so we have around 8 to 10 other all inclusives to compare it too. Oh yes beware of sales people that will stop you on hallways and call your room in the mornings and bother a lot. All in all please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. There is so many options out there

Best beach, best service!
Best beach ever! 3rd time here I come back for the beach and the service! Gerson is the absolute BEST! If you go make sure you ask for him he goes above and beyond all the time! We will be back soon! 🥰

Very Disappointing
Our arrival at the hotel was met with an unwelcoming attitude from the lady at the front desk. We were treated differently simply because we were a large bridal group. The food throughout our stay was extremely disappointing. The adults-only pool was small, and when we asked for club soda before closing, they were rude and refused to provide us with a cup. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the food, pool, and overall stay in Cancun, and I’ve been there more than five times.

Amazing Visit!
Another wonderful visit to Dreams Sands. Love all the staff. Best beach hands down, great service from everyone! Can’t wait to get back.
