Sunset at the Palms Resort - MUST STAY!!!

"Sunset at the Palms Resort' was amazing and was an incredible experience! Everything was perfect; from the food, the setting, the service (especially the server Alwayne and the concierge Loleta), and the facilities. The entire staff was friendly and wished to help at all times. The food was excellent (especially the buffets) and everything was topnotch! Do not to be dismayed that the resort is not technically "on the beach". It is a short walk and there is a crossing guard at all times to assist you and it is very easy. I actually thought it was very cool to be staying in the jungle in a more secluded and tucked away environment! Everything was perfect and I cannot wait to go back to "Sunset at the Palms" very soon!

Sunset at the Palms

Wow what can I say. So many people have reviewed this place. It truly is a magical resort. If you are looking to be away from all the big name all inclusive resorts, this is your place. Wonderful rooms situated among the palm trees and foliage. If you love getting back to nature of this is definitely your place. The staff is totally wonderful. They all go above and beyond. The food may not be to everyone’s liking but you do have plenty of choices. The chefs dinner completely five star. Did not see one grumpy face for a whole entire week. I have food allergies and they took the time to find out and make sure everything was in place for it. Never a problem finding a lounge chair on the beach.Met some wonderful people that were repeaters from Canada and the states. Some of them repeating for 10 and 15 years. Had some great excursions from the hotel and private. I have not put down anyone’s name for fear that I will forget somebody and felt that that would not be appropriate, As so many people made this such an enjoyable trip. Planning on returning very soon.

Amazing and tropical

If you are looking for a resort that is tropical, relaxing, good food, excellent service, beautiful beach, good security at the resort and on the beach, amazing sunsets, plenty of beach chairs, then SATP is the resort for you. This is a small resort that is so relaxing, we never felt crowded on the beach or at meals. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful to make your stay enjoyable. The beach is across the street, no problem since there is a crossing guard. This is not a negative for the resort. We were married at the resort and our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for. Carla the wedding planner saw to every detail and even had a backup plan since it was raining in the worries, the sun came out. The photographer Noah was excellent and took time with the photos. Ladies if you are looking for an amazing place to be married, no stress, then this resort is for you. I reviewed many Carribean resorts and SATP met all of our dreams, beautiful beach, amazing sunsets, tropical, good food and most of all excellent and friendly staff, We met many guests that have returned because they loved the resort so much. We will definately be returning and our children ( ages 36-43) said they would return and would also recommend this resort. The only con is that the lighting in the rooms could be better, but this would not prevent me from returning.
