Never do the deal of fortune

Never do the deal of fortune. You will always end up at Suncscape which is the least desirable hotel of the options presented.

Great getaway for young vacationers on a budget!

When getting to the resort, we were welcomed with drinks and check-in was smooth. The lobby was open-aired and you could see the ocean right when you walked in. Our party was not able to check-in for a couple hours when we got there, however, the hotel had changing rooms and allowed us to store our luggage while we waited for our room. The changing rooms allowed us to not skip a beat getting to the pool/beach. There were multiple pools and just out of the pool area was the beach. The beach areas had multiple umbrellas, beach chairs, and kayaks available for the hotel guests. The pool our party stayed at for the majority of our stay, was kid-free because of the swim-up bar. However, there were multiple pools in the resort that kids could swim in. The room's bathroom was clean with a large mirror that expanded across the width of the bathroom so multiple people could use the mirror at the same time. The bathroom was clean. The mini-fridge was exactly that, MINI. Very tiny fridge that was stocked with mini drinks. The room had standard items in the room (dresser, chair, two queen beds, nightstand/phone, balcony, etc.) The room was nothing special and was only cleaned twice out of our four days. The balcony had a nice view and was perfect for our group of three. The resort had three different dining options every night. The food was probably the worst part of the trip. The food choices were the same every day and our entire party was tired of it by the end of the trip. There was a buffet open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then there was an Asian restaurant, Italian restaurant, and seafood restaurant. The service at the resort was very friendly and never stopped trying to help or provide our party with a great time. Overall, the resort was great for a quick trip. The food could have been better and our room could have been cleaner, however, the beach/pool areas were great. The sites were amazing. Our group always felt safe and welcomed. Transportation was easily accessible through the resort. I would recommend for a quick trip (probably not for a week though). Cheap Caribbean worked out perfectly for us!

Three word "DON'T DO IT"

We booked the deal of fortune deal that cheap Caribbean was advertising that you would stay at a 4 star and up hotel with the glitz and glam. We ended up with SunScape Splach and well it turn out to be a BIG FAT LIE. First, when you get to the property it is no where close to a 4 star hotel it is either a 1 or 2 star. I have stayed in 2 or 3 star hotels/motels that had better accommodations than this. As soon as you enter the room you are immediately hit with a extremely foul odor of either mildew or mold not sure what that smell was. All of the furniture and appliances were outdated and there were small holes & chipping all over the room. But that was not the cherry on the top, the cherry on the top was the bed was as hard as a rock and they had pillows the size of what my 4 year nephew sleeps on (yes very tiny pillows). Second, the beach was hardly a beach, only the beginning part of the water was blue the rest was blue but had rocks under making it very difficult to walk or play in the water. Third, the food at the buffet was mediocre at best. It were not authentic Jamaican food, the few Jamaican selections they had were blend & nasty and taste nothing like real authentic Jamaican food (I am from South Florida and was surprise, they had better food than this so call hotel Jamaican food). Now if you wanted authentic Jamaican food, you had to pay a taxi cab driver $60 us money to take you down the street. I believe solely because we were american and they were trying to take full advantage of making some money on the top of our head. The two restaurant they had one Italian and the other Asian were both equally nasty & disgusting and left both my husband and i sick the very next day. Oh did i mention that the food at the buffet gave my husband and i the runs every day.... Fourth, the service i felt honestly we did not receive the top knot service like our counter part (Caucasians race) received. We would sit for like 5 or sometimes 10 minutes and no one would come to our table to ask us what we wanted to drink or if we needed anything but the minute that someone of the Caucasians race sat down, they were greeted immediately and were ask what they wanted to drink or if they needed anything. We witness this happen several times. Funny thing about it is none of those customers ever tip but we were actually tipping because we knew how it felt to struggle for food and make a decent living for your family. Lastly, overall trip was horrible. Thank you cheap Caribbean for giving me by far the worst trip ever. My advice to anyone looking to book through cheap is to never ever let them choose anything for you and pay the extra $$$$$$$$$ to stay somewhere you actually will have peace of mind. Consider yourself warned.... good luck and enjoy your vacation because we sure not didn't....

was well worth the wait

This was the first deal of fortune that we used and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating and very nice. This was a family orientated resort and we stayed by the adult pool and you wouldn't know that there were children there .

was well worth the wait
