What We Love
- Fancy duds throughout the resort that create that stylish level of lavishness you want.
- A private beach where the views are endless and the beach bartender already knows your name and your favorite cocktail.
- You can keep your beach bod looking svelte with a session or two with one of the on-site trainers at the fitness center.
- Traveling with the fam? Perfect, because Kids & Co. will take care of the young tykes - they want to have a little fun time, too.
- Vegging out at the spa with a beachside massage - leaving the beach would require too much effort - remember it's your vacay!
Things to Know
- The resort is away from the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay - you're drive is about 45 minutes from the airport and oh, so worth it once you arrive.
- The Adventure Park has all kinds of fun activities - zip lining, rock climbing & trampolines.
- You're close to some of Jamaica's favorite spots to see - Green Grotto Caves, Luminous Lagoon, Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin Cove & you'll find an excursion desk on-site to help you plan all your adventures.
- On those nights when you'd rather enjoy dinner on your balcony (and in your jammies) then 24-hour room service will be your thang.

Amazing experience
The staff and location is truly exceptional. Our room was clean and had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Every day it was cleaned and there were handymen on site if ever there was a problem. The overall age is a little older so if you are looking for late night parties and bar hopping this may not be the place. But of you want a beautiful atmosphere with friendly staff that feels like family this is the place. Javier at the concierge, if you need anything is s your man! We went on an excursion to Havana in a classic car and he found us a private tour by classic car. Our guide made the experience amazing and very safe.

Place is adorable, staff is nice but the food...
We returned yesterday and overall that was a good trip. We really liked that the hotel is in the village. It is small and cozy, there are a lot loungers available any time of the day, both, on the beach and by the pool, and towel service is excellent. The beach is fantastic and the sea was warm. The pool is very shallow - 1.2 meters in the deepest place but that was okay, we still could swim there if the weather was too windy and stormy for the sea. The room was spacious, no problems with hot water. However when there was a rainy evening we had the leaks right over or bed and the floor around it. Nothing crucial though but still. The hotel hosts a lot of activities (bingo, aqua fitness, Spanish lessons) and evening entertainment. To us that was pretty boring and mediocre but all people are different and I know many guests enjoyed them. Our major concern was the food. We hardly could eat everything (eggs in the morning, fried meat and fish or pizza in the afternoon, pasta in the evening - not because that was very tasty but because that was not too unappetizing) and still were on Imodium most of the time. The bread and pastry were fantastic. Very limited choice of fruit. Ah, and food was always the same every day, no variations. If you want to take a tour to Havana avoid by any chance Sunwing tours - the guide was terrible, lots of time spent in some places where you can buy this or that and almost nothing was told about the city, its history, culture, and architecture. We highly recommend taking one of the private guides in the hotel, Eddy Garcia was our absolute favorite. And this is not even more expensive but so much better than bus tours. For tours and tips bring as many USD as you can, Cuban people really need your support and the service is worth your tipping.

Paradise in Cuba
Great service (staff are amazing), food was really good, beds were very comfortable. Resort is kept very clean. Enjoyed the entertainment. Snorkeling directly off the beach was fun. All around great experience at Memories Jicoboa. We've been there twice and will definitely go back.

A vacation we will treasure.
What an amazing resort. My husband and I had the best experience and would like to encourage others to choose this beautiful location. I don't know where to begin. First..the staff makes this place. If you don't have the right people you won't come back no matter the resort. Warm, friendly and helpful. Thanks to our friend Yendry as our hike guide and entertainment staff. He put so much warmth and energy into engaging us into the Cuban spirit. We knew we were appreciated and very welcome. Second..for us it was the snorkelling. Amazing amazing. Third...the activities. Lots to do. My husband did the paragliding with Tristan and his crew. A very wonderful person who made that experience unforgettable for him The hiking up the mountain and through a local farm and the countryside is a wonderful experience. We also horseback rode the countryside and self hiked. Lots of other activities but needed more time. Fourth...lots of good food and drink. They do a very good job and very little shortage. Ran out of sparkling water one night...and glasses. Fifth...and most importantly...very clean. The beach, our room, resort grounds, bathrooms. Super clean. Memories Jibacoa is an older resort but is well maintained and has that rich Spanish aura. It is a classy jewel and we will definetely return.

Memorable
As a solo mobility impaired senior I felt truly spoiled. My room was always spotless. I had a short walk across the grass to the beach. There were always lounge chairs available. The reef was live with corals and fish. During my 4 week stay I was delighted with the food. The variety and quality was outstanding. Of course it was the attentive warm staff that made everything work. Thank you.
