What We Love

  • Fancy duds throughout the resort that create that stylish level of lavishness you want.
  • A private beach where the views are endless and the beach bartender already knows your name and your favorite cocktail.
  • You can keep your beach bod looking svelte with a session or two with one of the on-site trainers at the fitness center.
  • Traveling with the fam? Perfect, because Kids & Co. will take care of the young tykes - they want to have a little fun time, too.
  • Vegging out at the spa with a beachside massage - leaving the beach would require too much effort - remember it's your vacay!

Things to Know

  • The resort is away from the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay - you're drive is about 45 minutes from the airport and oh, so worth it once you arrive.
  • The Adventure Park has all kinds of fun activities - zip lining, rock climbing & trampolines.
  • You're close to some of Jamaica's favorite spots to see - Green Grotto Caves, Luminous Lagoon, Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin Cove & you'll find an excursion desk on-site to help you plan all your adventures.
  • On those nights when you'd rather enjoy dinner on your balcony (and in your jammies) then 24-hour room service will be your thang.

    Satisfied our expectations

This was our first stay at Memories Jibacoa, but our 11th trip to Cuba. Let me start by saying I do not wish to discuss our Sunwing flights and get right to our holiday. We arrived at the resort just after midnight and were greeted by a very personable young lady at reception. In less than 2 minutes, Dunia had us checked in, wristbands on, keys, towel cards, and directions to our room....great start to our two week stay in Premium Class. Next morning, before heading to breakfast, I tried several times to set up our code for the safe, without success, so w decided to try breakfast at the al a carte (Cuccina). After enjoying a relaxing patio breakfast, we headed to reception to get help for our safe problem. At reception, we were promptly looked after and advised that if we would like to have the matter looked after now, all we had to do was return to our room and a gentleman would be there right away to fix the problem. So, off we went and immediately after getting there, "our man Ray" knocked on the door, and within 2 minutes had it working. But while he was there, my wife tried to use the phone, and found it wasn't working, so Ray looked after that issue promptly. As Ray was about to leave he noticed a little bit of water coming down the wall from the ceiling, and upon checking, found we had accumulated a bit of water in the bathroon and beside one bed. Ray quickly determined the water was coming from a failed hose in the ceiling to do with the air conditioning system. "Our man Ray" who is a 26 year employee of the resort, fixed the leak, and cleaned up the water....the three problems maybe took him less than 15 minutes to resolve, and we had zero issues the rest of our holiday. My wife has mobility issues when it comes to stairs, so we requested a ground floor unit through our agent, and I followed that up with an e-mail directly to the resort. Our request was looked after by Yorti, and as luck would have it, or by Yorti going the extra yard, we were located half way between the lobby and Premium section of the beach. I have to mention that our room was located close to the Spa, where we got a great massage each week for $39.95 each, which is 30% off the price for Premium Class guests. Another perk of going Premium is that we ended up having 9 al a carte dinners, 5 of which included lobster tails. I would like to acknowledge the following hard working and very pleasant people who made our holiday that more enjoyable. Dunia in reception, Deinys who left our room spotless everyday, Jenny the Premium Class concierge who was without a doubt the hardest working employee there, and when she wasn't there it was David, Idania who looked after breakfast and lunch at Cuccina along with Melani, and at the beach it was Augustino and Manuel who provided us with our snorkelling equipment and took us for several catamaran adventures, along with Ilianny who provided us with our daily doses of Kubotas and Cervesa. Thank you to all. Lastly, I don't believe in recommending anything to others as all our tastes are different, but for what it's worth, we will be returning next year. Gord and Gloria Brantford ON.

    Memories Jibacoa

Just returned home after yet another splendid stay at Memories Jibacoa in Cuba, and I’m already missing it. The weather was absolutely perfect—sunny skies, warm turquoise water, and that soft, wonderful sand slipping between my toes. Pure paradise. One of the highlights of my trip, as always, was the incredible staff. Every morning started with warm hugs and genuine smiles before breakfast. They go out of their way to make me feel special, and it never goes unnoticed. My room was kept spotless throughout my stay, and anytime I needed something—big or small—the staff was more than happy to help. Their dedication to guest comfort is unmatched. I also want to give a shoutout to the Sunwing rep who checked in on me every single morning. She always had time for a chat and made me feel genuinely cared for. Now, if you're looking for a loud, party-style resort, this may not be the place for you. But if you enjoy relaxed, meaningful evenings, don’t miss the piano bar after the nightly show—it’s a perfect spot to wind down. One of the most beautiful things about Memories Jibacoa is the sense of community. Every year I visit, I leave with new friends. It’s not just the staff that make this place special—it’s the guests too. There's a unique vibe here that keeps me coming back. Yes, this resort may be a little pricier than some others, but as the old saying goes: you get what you pay for. And in this case, it’s worth every penny.

    Always an enjoyable holiday!

We have been to this resort many times. We always enjoy our stay, to the point that we took our whole family to appreciate our "home away from home"! The food is good and plentiful. Our room is clean and always very nicely done. The staff is totally amazing! If you like snorkeling, diving, tennis, pickle ball, yoga, water aerobics, etc. etc. it's all there. I cannot wait to get back.

    Love this place!

Love this place, it’s a perfect location, the staff are wonderful. Lots to eat and drink. The beach is nice, you can snorkel right off the beach. It is halfway between Varadero and Havana so you can do a day trip easily to either one. The last time we stayed we didn’t leave the resort except to walk to the souvenir shop down the road.
