Rooms, meals....horrible!
I recently stayed at your property from July 1st to July 8th, along with a group of 22 guests, and I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the condition of the accommodations and the quality of service we received throughout our stay. To begin on a positive note, I would like to commend the young gentleman at the front desk who welcomed us upon arrival. He was both professional and friendly, and his demeanor left a great first impression (unfortunately, I did not catch his name). However, our experience quickly began to decline once we entered our room. To summarize the issues: No wash cloths were provided in the room upon arrival. The room phone did not work, which prevented us from contacting room service. The jacuzzi was visibly dirty, and I have photos to support this. The toilet bowl had not been properly cleaned in quite some time—again, documented by photos. The bathroom sink was cracked, and the shower had poor drainage, causing water to pool around our feet. Because the phone was non-functional, we had to return to the front desk for assistance. My daughter spoke with Doresha Davis, who informed her that towels would not be available until the following day and stated that rooms are cleaned only after guests check out. I found this highly unacceptable and approached Ms. Davis myself, only to have the same information confirmed. Thankfully, a different young man later assisted us and provided some towels and wash cloths that evening. However, we only had proper linens in our room on three occasions during the entire week. Dining at the Nyam Restaurant was equally disappointing. Throughout our stay: Plates and glasses frequently ran out, and replenishment was delayed or inconsistent. Staff often said it wasn't their responsibility to restock dining items. Popular food items such as curried goat, ackee and codfish, and oxtail stew were not consistently replenished, leading to guest frustration and long waits. The food temperature was inadequate—meals were often lukewarm or cold shortly after being served. Coffee was frequently served at room temperature, and hot replacements took time to arrive. Tables were not consistently set with napkins or water glasses unless we specifically asked. The quality of the steak and brisket was extremely poor—both were dry, tough, and overall very disappointing. On July 7th, I met with Eliana Suasteguiy to voice these concerns. Unfortunately, she appeared disinterested and did not take any notes during our conversation. When I asked her about this, she claimed she would remember everything I said. She also questioned why I hadn’t reported the issues earlier, suggesting a room change could have been arranged—something I felt was dismissive, especially considering the volume and nature of our complaints. I later spoke with Jhonis Burton and Devonish, both of whom were understanding and apologetic. Before check-out, a few managers came to our room to offer support and make corrections, which I appreciated—but by that point, the damage had been done. Importantly, every guest in our 22-person group experienced some level of dissatisfaction with their rooms. It was a common theme that deeply impacted our overall experience. Lastly, it was painfully evident that many of your staff are unhappy. This was reflected in their tone, their body language, and their lack of attentiveness and warmth. It’s clear that employee morale is low, and that inevitably spills over into guest service. As a frequent traveler and someone who often recommends properties to others, I can unfortunately say that I would not recommend this hotel to any future clients or friends. I sincerely hope that these issues are addressed not only for the benefit of your future guests but also for the welfare of your team.

The worst holiday
If your thinking of going to this hotel, don't waste your money. We have only been back just over a week. We went to this hotel 5yrs ago and it was brilliant, hence why we booked again. It was awful, the staff were miserable (not all). The food was horrible and not hot. The Aircon kept leaking in the room, and there was water running down the wall. A maintenance man came 3times to it but it still dripped, so we kept the bin under it. At times there was no towels etc as they were having problems at the laundry. There was hardly any entertainment on at night. I could go on but it will take to long to write. I won't be going to Jamaica again.

Excellent trip for the second time but…
Second trip to this resort. I won’t go in too much details. Location is perfect destination for families. Food, restaurants are good. Only huge issue at this resort is that some ( not everyone) employees very openly discriminate if you are light skin ( regardless where you visiting from) . Best building for families hands down is building 18. Definitely be back.

Basically one step above holiday inn
Food was absolutely horrible. Servers in the main cafeteria buffet did not change out silverware after each customer. If the customers did not use the silverware, servers left the silverware on the table for the next customer to use. Extremely unsanitary. The ice cream was melted añd customers used the same spoon for all ice creams so the water looked the color of poop. Also a recipe for cross contamination. Using the same spoon for different foods, was a common thing in the buffet line. I hope no one had an allergic reaction. The Japanese restaurant had German cockroaches crawling across the floor and up the chairs. Spoke to the manager at the restaurant and the manger at the cafeteria about issues, no one seemed to care. Wish I had the ability to upload the video of the cockroach crawling inside of the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting and disappointed

Bad experience
My stay was awful from standing water in the shower to no towels available in the room or at the pool. Roaches in the roo..tv had 1 channel showing very fuzzy . The room and the entire hotel was very hot even the resturants the resturant constantly running out of the cold under cooked or over cooked food. I word Bahia principle was a tool mess. They need hire will chef's and treat their employees better so that the customer can have a better experience stay away from this place.
