Beautiful Resort-Horrible experience
Upgraded to Preferred Member & was an absolute disaster. Wasted $1600+ upgrading, it was my birthday & they didn'y do a damn thing, The Butler I was told I had was never around, only came around at the end of the day trying to make dinner res for us(I did that myself). Check-in took over 4 hours(got there at 1245pm didn't get to room until almost 5pm(while other Preferred Guests got their rooms right away), was promised a Private Preferred Members Only Cabana & the Butler Isamel, never even came to get us after numerous attempts to contact him on the day of. (even after I signed papers for it) I met other guests at Resort who were not Preferred Members & still had access to all the "private" preferred members only spots...so why did I pay all that extra money. With it being my birthday & nothing was done was the final check. mark. Even when. I complaoined at Check out I was even offered an apology, I was told I had a balance for the spa & how I wanted to pay for it!! Imagine that, great customer service, they could care less & just wanted my $ which they got. Avoid this resort at all cost

Amazing
Just WOW!!! Absolutely love this hotel and it’s family within it … we arrived late Thursday to our stay for 14days the greeting at the front desk was lovely with a complimentary drink whilst they got us booked in , upon arriving at our room was nicely made up for us .. clean and couldn’t fault a single thing, we ordered room service that was lovely and more than we could eat, our first day we meet LUIS this man was amazing he set us up with the Bali beds and was there for us all day with whatever we needed truly a legend an such a friendly trustworthy person, the Bali beds are literally a stone throw away from the bar, Sugar Reef who was staffed with YOYO (my queen) & REMY who are the most happy and gorgeous people who had us laughing and topped up with as many drinks as you needed!! On our second day we met ALEX, who was the legend of the beds he catered to every need and with so much upbeat and positive attitude towards us , making us feel so settled and at home. We eat mostly at the buffet style restaurant but we did have a night at the American and the steak was to dye for so much food to choose from but I will say whilst there loads of people thought you had to pay for the restaurants but you don’t the only one you need to book for is the Japanese others are just first come first serve so get there early… honestly every staff member we met was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The beach we ventured to for a couple of days the vendors on the beach are a little pushy but if you just say no thank you they seem to get the message! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in by far and couldn’t of asked for a better time honestly can’t wait to book our next holiday here and go see our familyyyyy again so a big massive thanks you too … LUIS, ALEX the legends REMY & YO-YO (my queen) see you soon Family❤️

Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana - LIKE PARADISE
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations in all the right ways. We stayed in a Tropical View Suite with Preferred status, and for us, that choice made all the difference. The comfort, convenience, and level of service were exceptional throughout. The welcome process was seamless, relaxed, and quietly luxurious. A comfortable lounge, welcome drink in hand, luggage handled, and no stress in sight. We were swept right into relaxation. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with thoughtful amenities and a perfect location; close to the pools, beach, food, and Preferred lounge. The showers were fantastic (and sometimes that really matters). Everything felt fresh, peaceful, and easy. Food was a daily highlight. Breakfast at El Patio became a beloved routine. Dominican options like mangu, passionfruit or mango smoothies, and warm service that made us feel remembered and valued. Emilia in particular made our mornings special, always welcoming us with our favorite espresso and a kind word. We also loved lunch at El Patio (the octopus was excellent), the French restaurant for dinner, and the buffet for its generous Dominican offerings and beautiful presentation. Truly, the service at every restaurant and bar was consistently wonderful. Most of our evenings before dinner we were at the Preferred lounge, where Robert was a standout. Not only is he a talented bartender, he’s funny, welcoming, and made the best Chinola Margarita I’ve ever had — made with fresh-pressed passionfruit and a lot of love. At the Preferred pools, Daniela and Rosa kept our drinks full and our spirits high. We especially enjoyed the sparkling wine served daily at the terrace infinity pool, a lovely touch. The beach and pool layout were incredibly easy to navigate, and the Preferred section made everything feel convenient without being exclusive or cold. Chairs were not that difficult to get if you put your mind to it. You do have to strategize where you want to spend what part of the day, and get there early to the most coveted spots. Entertainment was energetic and well-produced, but we did find ourselves wishing for more Caribbean and Dominican music and cultural representation. A little more local flair, especially in the shows or poolside music, would add a layer of authenticity we would have really enjoyed. Also, the Preferred lounges and bars closed earlier than we expected. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to linger a bit longer in the evenings. One of the most surprising and meaningful aspects of our stay was the sense of community. Staff not only took care of us, they seemed to truly care. One moment stood out: while walking along the beach, a staff member we hadn’t met kindly pointed out where our family was sitting — just quietly, helpfully, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. We also felt extremely safe the entire time, never needing to worry about belongings or surroundings. Julio was our majordomo, and he added the perfect finishing touch: attentive, kind, and always there when we needed something, without ever being intrusive. His presence elevated the entire experience. Check-out was as smooth and gracious as check-in, and while we were sad to leave, we left feeling refreshed, happy, and deeply grateful. We highly recommend Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, especially with Preferred status. It was a joy from start to finish — and we’ll absolutely be back.

Perfect Honeymoon
Went here on our honeymoon and we couldn't be more pleased with choosing this resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was amazing at every restaurant including the buffet! Loved that there were so many pools to choose from, but we were there for the beach. Very little seaweed due to the net the resort uses to prevent it from coming in. Yes, there are vendors, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. The staff was great! Special shoutout to Coral and Medina who worked at Olio. They were so accommodating but just so sweet! Samuel the bartender at the premier lounge bar also stayed late each night waiting on a few patrons to leave. Ruddy always had a smile on his face! I wish I remembered everyone else's names because they were all wonderful! We will definitely be going back!!!
