Outstanding Service from Daniel & Carlos M at Ocean Blue and Sand
Daniel at the pool and Carlos M at the Tiki Bar truly elevate the Ocean Blue and Sand experience. Daniel keeps the pool area spotless and organised, always helping with loungers and towels, and making guests feel relaxed and looked after. Carlos M brings great energy to the Tiki Bar, crafting excellent drinks while staying friendly and attentive, even when busy. Both take real pride in their work, remember guests, and deliver service that feels personal. They are a credit to the resort and a big part of what makes a stay here so enjoyable.

Overall great stay at Ocean Blue and Sand
We went here 3 times and would go back! Hotel is situated 30mins away from the airport by bus, if no other stops. The hotel grounds are great, well maintained and the decor is impeccable. The hotel is set up like a lovely little town with themed restaurants. Most rooms seem to be renovated, everything was great in our room except minor details that were promptly fixed (broken light, missing a hook in the bathroom). Rooms and grounds are very clean. The service is fantastic and a few of the staff are great and make all the difference. Elvin at the steakhouse is fantastic, so so friendly and always ready to help. Eddy at the beach bar is also great, very friendly and super helpful. Excellent mojitos at the pool bar next to the beach. We went to the Martini bar every day and the server there is A1, although I can't recall his exact name. Food was great at the Steakhouse restaurant, route 66 and French. Buffet is varied and good. We booked the Privilege rooms. The beach lounge and drinks there are great. The rooms are close to the beach with great service. Nevertheless, compared to other hotels, the butler service is sub-par. We did not hear from the supposed butler the whole week. Sorry, but we're not supposed to chase the butler, on the contrary. Also, event planning is really not their Forte. We went there for 2 birthdays, and had to insist for any sort of planning, or else nothing would have been done. Not the place for a wedding and such.

Feb 04, 2026Warning about Ocean blue and sand.
My first full day there i feel I was drugged. All of the sudden I felt very drunk and started leaning to the left when I would walk. My guy had to hold my hand. I lost all memory of that late afternoon. This has never happened to me before. I was puzzled when I woke up like coming off of anesthesia. My sister who was two rooms over always had her do mot disturb sign on her door. She prefers not to have her room cleaned. Yet she found a large size bottle of suntan lotion on the table in her room which she is adamant was not hers. I will never go back there. Please head my warning.
- AdvisoryThe hotel does not accept Student Groups or Spring Breakers. Student Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at the Hotel. A student group consists of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
