Beautiful Place!

The place was beautiful. However the service can be better in the restaurants. The best restaurant was the Japanese. The room I was in had very poor AC! Bring your own wash clothes because they do not supply those. The bartenders at the main and pool area are SUPER AMAZING! The entertainment staff was cool too! If you have children please feel extremely comfortable leaving them with Kimberly she was AMAZING!!!

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for! This is sooooo true here. I found this very cheap deal and went for it. The resort needs much TLC. The beach IS GORGEOUS. The staff for the most part were very nice. I found the food to be salty (and i'm Dominican). The Island is beautiful...the people...the drinks...the music...loved it. Lucky for us that we were out on tours for the most part of our stay. I love Punta Cana but i will not be returning to this resort.

GREAT VACATION but....

We did enjoy our stay here and had lots of fun. To keep this short as possible, I’ll just summarize.. we went here twice now. Once for our honeymoon 3 years ago and once this past week (August 2019). Both Times we did have so much fun. From 3 years ago I remembered that this resort had BOMB churros- so random... I know. But I was craving them so much and was looking forward to get back and have some. Well.. they don’t have those churros anymore. But on a different note.. their food here is still really good. In the buffet, they have chefs that stand along the sides of the room and they always g ok something tasty. I would recommend. They have a poolside grill and I genuinely enjoyed the burger and fries. Their bartenders ante ok. Swim up bar is ok. They have 3 pools - the main pool, a kid pool and another pool. The main pool has all the music, entertainment and games. The kid pool has the slides and stuff for kids (very shallow.. probably for ages 2-6) and the 3rd pool. The 3rd pool is the most beautiful- it has a stunning bridge and really beautiful layout. Beautiful seating and chairs to sit by the pool in, build in “chairs” that are in the actual pool BUT no swim up bar there, and the sprinklers make it impossible to just swim in the pool. The fromt area of the pool- where you can swim in is only about 4ft deep. So we just stuck to the main pool. The beach was pretty and turquoise- but no where near see through waters. The beach was very tidy though- VERY good job keeping it clean. The entertainment was ok. That’s the one thing that stopped this resort was 5 stars. It wasn’t bad entertainment- AT ALL. But it was just the same stuff all the time. Like the same games, same dances, same schedule —- like daily. Not weeekly —- daily. So it was kinda boring. At night time the theater is OK to say the least. It wasn’t really good shows. We just left earlier every night and didn’t really enjoy it. The teams of people were very good though and sweet staff members. They do push for reviews but they are sweet and do try. It would just be nice for them to switch it up.
