  Exceptional Experience

  All the servers/workers listed here have been absolutely incredible: Jairo Manuel, Johancel, Marleny, Tomas at the Rodeo Grill, Tomy at the Mexican Restaurant, Karina. Each one has given the best service and are very attentive. Also Franklin from the animation team was the best! Always included us in all the activities that were happening around the resort!

  Best time ever

  The best service and people! The Rodeo restaurant was our favorite specifically Tomas Aquino! As well as Christian and Alejandro. They had the best energy and were so fun. The service was amazing and they made it an unforgettable experience.

  Absolutely Divine!

  My brother and I went to Majestic Colonial Nov 14-21, 2025 for his birthday. I can honestly say it is a stunning resort with outstanding food, pools and service. The beach is pristine! Hard white sand with no rocks or broken shells or seaweed and no drop off. Super warm turquoise blue waters and you could walk out quite far and still touch bottom. There are palapas and palm trees for shade. The only draw back was that the chairs are quite cramped together and always full. If you dont go by 7 a.m. to get your chair choice its full. But I must say we never had a big problem getting somewhere to sit. We did Colonial Club which is adults only and it was worth it! There is a beach bar and beach waiter service. An adult pool with pool bar which was a lot of fun. The bar tender Lorenzo was so much fun. Provided laughs and always so friendly and full of life. Made great drinks! The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean every day. Had a mini fridge stocked with beer, water and pop which was handy. Also had a coffee maker and a phone with room service available 24/7. The balcony was large with lovely patio chairs and table. The bathroom had a wonderful rain shower. The hand held shower didnt work but didnt matter. Also had a jacuzzi tub but unfortunately only 2 jets that worked and took forever to get a few inches of water so we didnt use it. Didnt matter. The restaurants are fabulous! You only need reservations at 2 out of the many there. That was the French and Japanese. We only did the Japanese which was really fun and delicious. The Steakhouse is fabulous! I had the best beef tenderloin Ive ever had. My brother's steak was the size of a dinner plate!. The buffets were wonderful for all meals and there are 3 to pick from. The main one near the hotel lobby, the beach one and a private one for Colonial Club. Huge assortment of hot and cold food. All delicious! One of the best parts of Colonial Club is that you have a private concierge who looks after anything you want or need. Ours was a gentleman named Danny. He was amazing. Super firendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Checked in on us every day to see if all was well. On the 2nd day my stupidly brought his wallet to the beach to buy cigars. Next morning realized he had lost his wallet! Immediately contacted Danny and the hunt began with him and his crew. By a miracle it had been turned in and found in a beach towel. Moment of panic over, thanks to Danny . Any questions we had we called Danny. Always there for us. Checked in with us to see if the room was OK and brought us a bottle of Stolis vodka as a gift! That was great! He also made all the arrangements for our dinner reservations, luggage pickup and did our check out in advance for us. Honestly Danny made our trip outstanding with all his help, kindness and knowledge. Entertainment was pretty good. Events on the beach and nightly shows. Michael Jackson was great! There was music and dancing on the terrace a few times and what I loved was that it was latin music most of the time. Music on the beach too. I have been to about 20 resorts in Mexico and now 3rd time to Dominican which is my new fave. This resort is spectacular in every regard. We were in room 4321 which was 1/2 way to the beach and 1/2 way to main buffet and entertainment. Perfect. There are elevators if you need in the room building. I can not say enough good things about Majestic Colonial, Colonial Club. All of the staff were wonderful, friendly and did a great job maintaining the rooms and resort. They are starting renos in April altho I have no clue what they could possibly renovate as the resort is perfect. I was at Bahia Principe Esmeraldo last year and it truly cant compare to Majestic. I highly recommend this resort for a perfect vacation! Hope to be able to go back sometime! Thank you Majestic Colonial for the best experience ever and thank you again Danny for everything you did for us!
