    My thoughts

    First and foremost resort is absolutely gorgeous hats off to all the landscapers pools crystal clear and we'll maintained .Rooms didn't show there age very nice.Night time lights is something to see.Now on thee less positive side food very spotty, stomach issues hit a lot more than people me and my wife. Drinks seemed weak or watered down bar menu posted would have been nice.Since that was probably the last vacation we will be able to take I would have returned here in a minute sincerely Kevin and Debra Gleason

    This had been our third time at this resort and would definitely go back

    We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were going above and beyond to try and to help us and meet our needs. The was good and the grounds and beaches were well taken care of. The rooms and hallways in the buildings are needing a refresh and elevators need to be replaced. Our butler’s Luis and Edwin were fantastic!!!!

    Best Restaurant on the Resort

    Jean Carlos, Karina and Supervisor Audyn at Taino was AMAZING. General Manger Alexander made sure we was taking care of. When I come back this restaurant will be my 1st stop.. Theeee Best Birthday dinner.

    Clean and Spacious, But Falls Short on Service & Food

    We stayed at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana for 4 nights in late November. The resort has a beautiful layout and several positives, but also some significant shortcomings that travelers should be aware of. The Good: - The resort grounds are very clean and well-maintained, and the overall property is visually appealing. - The pool area is huge, and we never struggled to find chairs at the pool or beach — which was a pleasant surprise. - The kids’ splash park and daytime activities were excellent. The daily bingo was simple but fun for families. - Beach area is spacious and relaxing. - Sunrise from the Beach was beautiful. ️ The Not-So-Good: - The rooms are outdated and could use major modernization. - The mini-bar and snacks were not refreshed daily, even after multiple requests. It was restocked only once during our 4-night stay. - Very limited English proficiency among staff, which made even basic communication harder than expected. - The service didn’t feel as courteous or proactive as compared to other resorts. - The food was disappointing — limited variety (especially for vegetarians) - Nightly entertainment was underwhelming and we skipped all the nights
