    A beautiful retreat

    Dreams Dominicus is as close to paradise as I’ve been. A smaller and quieter resort that pays close attention to every detail. The food was excellent and the service superb. We cannot wait to return.

    Lovely hotel, but I am not sure I would return.

    This hotel is a mixed bag for me. Some super pros but also some cons, and I'm not sure which outweighs the other. We travelled to this resort as a couple in 2019, and we absolutely loved it. So much so that we returned with our kids in Dec 2025. However, the standard was not so high. I'll keep it brief to help you decide if this is the place for you. Pros - beautiful beach - like absolutely stunning - never ever a problem getting a sunlounger - wonderful staff - nothing is a problem for them - a great selection of pools - the a la carte restaurants served wonderful food, and you could always get a table without queuing - incredible beauty therapists at the spa. We had 2 heavenly massages - great entertainment Cons - the pools (all of them, including the hot tub) were not clean. There was debris, insects, cigarette butts and every day by lunchtime, a yellow foam that appeared around the edge as you enter. The bottom of the pool had dirty marks, and I felt like I needed a bath to scrub my skin after being in it - main buffet - I really did not enjoy the food. I know all-inclusive resorts can struggle to hit the balance, but it was sometimes like eating cardboard. Tip - if you want to eat here, go early, and order directly for the grill for fresh food - my hair straightners did not work! Check the voltage on yours before you come because I looked like I had been electrocuted for 2 weeks! - knocks on the doors saying they are from housekeeping in the evening after 8pm. When most people would be out eating or watching the shows, it feels like a very odd time to be calling in. Especially when they don't have housekeeping trollies with them. Maybe I'm paranoid, but it felt strange. So, for me, while I have written a huge list of pros, the pools (which did not feel clean) were a massive problem for me. It feels like it needs an extra filter maybe. Anyway, if you book this hotel I am sure you will have a lovely time, despite those above gripes we really did have a wonderful holiday. I am just not sure I would return for a third time.

    Grate hotel, with perfect beach area and big comfortable room with well air-condition. Friendly staff and intertament team. My favorite people in hotel, is my butler Kissy ❤️ and my new friend Loret ❤️

    An unforgettable experience at Dreams Dominicus La Romana

    I had the most beautiful experience at Dreams Dominicus La Romana last week. The resort is absolutely stunning—immaculately clean, very well organized, and filled with kind, welcoming, and helpful staff. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The setup and design of the resort are gorgeous. The beach and pools are truly magnificent—clean, calm, and incredibly relaxing. The ocean water was crystal clear with gentle waves, making it perfect for swimming and enjoying the scenery. The food was outstanding. The buffet offered an incredible variety: pastas, pizzas, different types of meats, fresh soups daily, salad bars, and a wide selection of desserts. There were also great options for kids. Each day featured different themes such as Mexican, Dominican, Italian, Asian cuisine. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. In addition to the buffet, the resort offers several à la carte restaurants for dinner, including Italian, Asian, French, and American cuisine. Every night we chose a different restaurant, and each one was wonderful with great food and excellent service. One night, to celebrate our anniversary, we enjoyed a private dinner on the beach. The setup was absolutely beautiful, romantic, and peaceful, and the service was truly outstanding—an unforgettable experience. A very special thank you to the entertainment team (the Medallion)—they were absolutely amazing, friendly, energetic, and always ready to help. Every night there was entertainment, and they truly made the experience even more special. Special thanks to Chicken, Jay, Champion, Nikki, Happy Boy, Mello, Mini Cooper, Brian, Baby, Guppy, Blaky, and the entire team—you are all incredible. I spent a week here with my husband while teaching through Fitness Vacation Exchange, which gave me the opportunity to teach morning stretch and total body flow classes in a beautiful gazebo by the ocean. It was such a magical setting to teach and connect with people from all over the world. The diversity of guests made the experience even more enriching. This was honestly one of my favorite resorts I’ve visited. I highly recommend Dreams Dominicus for families, couples, and solo travelers—truly for all ages. I left with deep gratitude and wonderful memories, and I cannot wait to return.
