    Reasonably priced for cayman

Reasonably priced hotel for Cayman but a little underwhelming in the end. Looks beautiful and very clean. Only one of the pools is for hotel guests the other time share guests. Room was nice enough but ours had a constantly flushing toilet and we were told that it couldn’t be fixed during our visit. Kitchen facilities in room super helpful as food is very pricey but it does mean your room tends to smell of your neighbours bacon!

A fantastic vacation is waiting for us

My wife Kathy and I have traveled all over the Caribbean and stayed at many islands and I think Grand Cayman is the best. Especially the Wyndham Reef Resort that I found to be clean safe and very comfortable, last year we got a condo down at the end near the grills. We found it to be well equipped with a nice kitchen comfortable beds and good AC. I read that some people considered it to be out dated OK then go stay at the Ritz Carlton at three times the price but if you are looking for good value and friendly down to earth staff and guests this is where you want to stay. Across the street the is a Fosters Express neighborhood grocery store with a good supply of basic needs plus a well stocked liquor store and an Italian style eat in and take out. On the property they have a coffee and pastry corner an a Subway shop plus a dining room and a beach bar. Now when you arrive at the front desk the sweet ladies with big smiles will make you feel very welcome and they are Marlissa,Pammie and Jasmin that will help with any questions or needs. Also there is Doris the activity director who keeps thing hopping with buffets and entertainment. The shady beach is fantastic and there are three swimming pools that are clean and well kept bring your own snorkel mask and snorkel and you can rent fins. Kathy and I are returning to celebrate our fifty year anniversary there and she is an excellent cook and will knock out some good food. There is a shuttle that can take you to the big Fosters grocery store about 30 miles away that has a fantastic selection of great food. I can't wait to return for another stay and cook some tasty food on the charcoal grills with some fine steaks from Fosters big market. We could go anywhere we want but we choose Wyndham Reef for our special anniversary vacation.

    Highly exceeded, stunning chill out!

Sisters rejuvenation visit, which was stellar! Fantastic 2 bd/2bath beachfront, sought out for no decision making that all inclusive offers. Tides restaurant -food prep. And presentation was super high quality-we were willing to accept “met expectations” and were thrilled. attentive and super professional staff-will be return visitors!!

    As an RCI exchange member

The Location was beautiful, it is located in the east end which is still relatively undeveloped and the natural beauty of the Island is still present, The Resort has some very nice accommodations, But as an RCI exchange member visiting a Wyndham we were given the most worn out unit available in the complex, rusty appliances, broken floor tile, no screens on the door to keep the chickens out, we actually were forced to move when the AC unit quit even though we were willing to remain where we were instead of packing up and moving to another unit with only two day's remaining in our vacation. It's important to point out that the staff was very nice, and tried there hardest to fix things and even offered to pack us up and move us. Management not so much, they were less than forthcoming on why we were forced to move and less than generous in offering any compensation for any inconvenience, the "over and above" fee's mentioned as possible when booking are actual, and added another $500.+ that we were charged as RCI members. This was our 4th visit to Grand Cayman.this beautiful Island is being loved to death, 7 mile beach could be renamed to 7 mile Hotel, it is also a very expensive destination. Beauty truly comes at a cost at this location.

    Will definitely return .

Wonderful vacation at the Wyndham resort. We stayed for one week with an oceanfront suite. We did not go all inclusive but ate breakfast every morning at the Tides restaurant on site. Excellent service special shout out to Ruel and Maricel. Dinner at the outdoor bar or appetizers at happy hour was affordable and delicious. Tony and Alexander took Excellent care of us. Also, staff at the front desk and excursions were also helpful. Would definitely come again and really was appreciative of such a friendly staff. P.S. try the Zucca restaurant and feed the birds at 5. And the Italian restaurant next to the grocery store nearby is Excellent. Love Louise and Stanley
