Not Happy.

Long story short, this was our honeymoon and was not what we excpected. Yes we got there during the time of the hurricane but we were told all the resteruantes and stuff would be open by Monday. We kept asking so they told us tuesday the latest but still nothing. We left Thursday and resturants were still closed and so was the pool. We did go to the Atlantis and ended up paying for dinners because somehow their stuff was open also their pool was open but we didnt have access to it because it was for Atlantis customers only. We understood that the first two days would be buffet but the buffet food was not good. Would like to expierence this place if it was actually up and running not only offering burgers and old pizza.

Just ok...

My friend and I chose this place cause it had a good rating but I honestly don't understand how this place had 4.5 stars. If you are looking for a resort that you cab explore and keep busy this is not the place for you. You literally walk outside and its the pool and a little beach and that's the whole resort. Very small. Also the beach unfortunately being on the bay was not the cleanest. There was trash in the water and on the shore. Thankfully after a couple days of being there the environmental people did come clean the beach but overall the water isn't the greatest at the resort. If your looking to see the beautiful carribean water of the Bahamas go to cabbage beach. One convenience to this hotel is that they offer a free shuttle to cabbage beach that includes lunch so that was nice. Also atlantis is only a 7 minute walk away from the hotel. So if you wanted you could go to the casino there or buy a pass to do the Waterpark and beaches there. There was aldo a lot of maintenance issues at the hotel. One of the sinks in the lobby bathroom didn't work, the elevators kept breaking, and our drain in our tub was clogged. In addition, there is only 2 bars at the resort and the majority of the time only one was open. There is also only 5 places to eat and 2 of the restaurants you have to make reservations or you can't eat there. Also the buffet is supposed to be open all day until 6 and some days they didn't even open the buffet. Also if you are looking for all you can eat you wont get that at the restaurants because you are only allowed to get one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert. The food overall was ok. Tings was the best. Also the staff at the hotel varied, some staff was super nice but others were rude or didn't interact with you. Dre one of the activity coordinators was awesome and the guy that helps in the lobby. The room itself was clean and the maids were on top of cleaning the room. If you go to the bahamas I recommend to stay somewhere else like Atlantis that place is huge and awesome. Last the night life at the hotel was minimal. They had a bingo night, karoke, game night , and stuff like that but no shows and not many activities in general at the hotel throughout the day. If you are looking to go on a vacation where you want to stay at the resort the whole time youd be bored here. I reccomend going off the resort and doing stuarts cove snorkeling, atlantis, and the straw market.

Standard, not luxury, not bad

Spent a long weekend at Warwick in summer 2019. The hotel is on water but not the beach, it faces a marina but also a shipyard and a bridge to the island where there is constant traffic - this does not have the most relaxing feel when at the pool. The pool is attractive, clean and plenty of sun lounger space. There is a pool bar and a pool cafe. Food is great and cocktails are delicious. There is limited poolside service and most drinks I ordered at the bar. The beach is a short walk away and also there is a shuttle service with the hotel that comes with lunch and beers/waters/sodas. It’s the most beautiful beach and would highly recommend time is spent there. Loungers and umbrellas are included as part of the shuttle service. The rainbow stand offers $20 all you can drink cocktails from a coconut and is right next to the Warwick Hotel section. There are 2 restaurants and the hotels buffet service. The food is delicious. The restaurants book up so fast that you have to be a day if not more planned to get a reservation at the Italian or the Steakhouse. Breakfast and lunch are buffet only with plenty of options and you can eat outside in the sun by the pool. The hotel itself is basic, the staff are friendly but only a quarter of the rooms have balcony’s and despite staying there during off season when I was told by multiple hotel staff that the hotel was at low occupancy I was refused a room with a balcony unless I paid the additional fee. There is nothing luxurious about the rooms and the bathroom is dark, dingy and had a damp smell always. This was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. It is very quiet at night despite being adult only. The spa at the hotel is also hidden on the second floor and you are unable to have a massage outside. The time slots were limited and a couple days were fully booked, this was during low season so during high season I think you may have to book ahead to reserve an appt or else it may be unlikely to secure a slot. There is one bar in the hotel and a games room for rainy days which is quite depressing. Very enclosed and dingy. Not appealing. All in all, the hotel was fine if you have good weather and can be by the beach most of the day. The food and drinks are exactly as you would expect and the staff are friendly. However, if visiting the Bahamas again I would not return to this particular hotel based on balcony situation, quality of the rooms and not having the typical Caribbean feeling by the pool when you are facing traffic and cargo boats. Hope it’s helpful!
