We booked Hotel Riu adults only for our honeymoon. Had the best time. If you want an all inclusive hotel stay with warm welcomes, great food, great people look no further! We ended up upgrading our room to elite oceanfront, it was well worth it. Top shelf alcohol, private pool/lounge, reserved seating for dinner the list goes on. You could tell the workers enjoyed their jobs.( minus guy at the front desk in the casino) The steak house is a must try! The entertainment throughout the day made sure there was never a dull moment. If you are expecting to go to the beach in the morning with a palapa you best be a morning bird and get out there at 5:45am the morning of and claim yours. If not don’t expect to have one. There are scooters in front of the hotel you can take to the strip and see all the stores, bars and restaurants. Safest place to sight see do not worry. Big shout out to Luis, Miguel and Carlos (our bartenders) for making sure we had perfect drinks on command. Aruba was beautiful and the Riu Palace Antillas was wonderful. A great vacation
Christmas week through New Years myself, husband and 2 adult daughters went to the Riu Palace Antillas-the adults only resort in Aruba. It was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. For an all Inclusive hotel, the food was the best I have experienced. All the restaurant staff were super friendly and attentive. The staff at the bars (including pool bar) were also very friendly and attentive. Even the guests were friendly. We could not make reservations at the restaurants but honestly we had no issues getting into all of them. You just had to time your arrival right. This time of year it was extremely windy (especially at the beach), which was a little annoying but cannot control mother nature. One issue with the beach is that it is not private and people from other hotels are allowed on the beach with access to the chaises lounges and huts. We had to be at the beach by 6am every day to be able to get a hut by the water. There were guests that were actually putting towels of the huts the night before or earlier than 6am to reserve a hut and the staff would just put chairs there without even the guests even being there--that was not right in my opinion. If you came to the beach or pool in mid-morning, you risked not getting a spot on the beach or a chaise lounge. I paid a lot of money for this vacation, and it is not right that someone other than a hotel guest be allowed to use the chaise lounges so there is none left for the actual guests of the hotel. The same issue was at the pool. We came down our last day at 6am and there were already many towels on lounges reserving them. Unfortunately it was Christmas week which was very busy but we should not have to get up at 6am every day to reserve a spot in the shade and sun. In addition, we had a hard time contacting the front desk and housekkeeping to get more towels--they just did not answer their phones which was also annoying. Again busy time of year. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and I would recommend this hotel and the Island of Aruba--a very friendly beautiful island with kind beautiful people.

Great trip for family of 8.
We took our family of 8 here and had a great time. While a bit busier than expected, the food, beverages, and options for activities were plentiful. Everyone was happy. The service was amazing. The spa was an added bonus.

TERRIFIC!!!!
We went to RUI Palace Antillas Aruba for New Years, absolutely amazing! Staff is wonderful, the food is tremendous. Can't wait to go back!! Look for Al Roker in the buffet, terrific server. Aruba on New Years Eve is incredible; the whole island is lite up with fireworks. Wonderful stay at the RUI!!!

Dec 27, 2025seaweed needs to be removed immediately
my dear friends at the Riu, Palace Antilles we need your help to remove the seaweed on the beach we are the only resort that is full of seaweed. Everyone else had it removed early this morning before the guests came down.
