    Home #2.

7th return 2weeker. 100 acre peninsula paradise. Rivalled only by the service and food. Layed back, elegantly casual. Safest resort I've been to. The people are very accommodating and wonderful. Going back in March.

Sensible price but not high end

Second visit here ( previous in2013). This time we upgraded to Royal Suites which was worth it for adult only pool/bar. Not much has changed, coffee shop welcome addition but food quality very variable across resort and cocktails poor. Overall a good break for what we paid but room for improvement

Amazing, our best holiday so far!

We’ve just returned from an amazing holiday in Antigua having spent a week (Fri-Fri) at the St James’s Club staying in one of the Royal Suites rooms. The resort is awesome, it has everything you could possibly need for a perfect all inclusive Caribbean holiday. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly throughout. A special mention must go to Ken at the water sports hut who taught me how to sail a Hobie Cat and Riaan the General Manager who was always on hand to take any questions and to make the stay extra special. November seems like a great time to visit as the resort is still reasonably quiet but the weather is beautifully warm and sunny. We had a couple of rain showers towards the end of the week but these were brief and everything was dry again very quickly afterwards. We did the half day Pink Panther tour which took us to around the east side of the island and visited the main tourist spots such as Shirley Heights, Nelson’s Harbour, Betty’s Hope and Devils Bridge. This was excellent, the guide was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Antigua. I’d highly recommend this tour. It can be booked via the excursion desk in the hotel reception and it was charged to the bill, except the entry fee for Nelson’s Harbour for which you’ll need cash or card on the day. Food in the resort is very good and there is a great choice of restaurants all serving different menus. The coffee shop was a favourite of ours as it’s really close to the Royal Suites and it’s open 24hrs a day serving great drinks and lovely sweet and savoury treats. All in all, this is the best holiday we have been on and it was far from the most expensive resort on Antigua. We are already planning another couples trip back early next year and we plane to take the whole family out late next year as well.

    Enjoyed and Relaxed

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the St James. Weather, beaches, and the food were incredible. The building we stayed in "Papaya" was almost like new with a terrific view of the ocean. Loved the mobile bar. Spent 1/2 day sport fishing caught which was phenomenal, Tuna, Barracuda, and Mahi Mahi. Tuna sushi on the dock when we returned. The coffee house is a good place to meet other guests and get acquainted. Want to give specific kudos to, Riann, (GM), Lyndon, and Ozzie, who along with the other staff (I wish we could name everyone) made our stay exceptional. We will be returning in 2026
