  Good but with Issues

  Had an enjoyable short stay. The hotel is well maintained and most of the staff are very friendly. The buffet food was good but lacking in variety and choice for a 5-star (not like the nearby Royalton) but the house wine was better than I had hoped for. There were a few minor issues like no beach towels available one morning until 10am which early risers like myself found annoying; my bathroom was tatty in parts and in need of a refurb and my room in Preferred Club was clean but musty; no ginger beer in a hotel in Jamaica came as a shock so couldn’t get myself a Dark n Stormy cocktail; and there was a distinct lack of fresh fish at the restaurants - not once was there an option to have a whole fish on the plate 🐟 which is basic and something people love being so close to the sea. It was only when I moved hotel to a lower star hotel close by did I get a whole red snapper. I would visit this place again but not in a hurry - for the same money I would take a look at the Sandals nearby as I think the dining options are better. Thanks to all the staff who made my stay enjoyable.

  Safe and Sound

  Couples Negril is a quaint and sweet place, the staff and grounds are amazingly beautiful. We shall return rather soon. Soon Come as the Jamaicans say… It’s always good to repeat and see similar faces.

  Honeymoon

  We spent 7 days at the couples resort. We were not disappointed the food amazing, the staff friendly and helpful. We had a little hiccup with our room and it was promptly resolved and the next day they sent us a fruit platter and candy bowl expressing their apologies. We loved that the venue was smaller than the other ones very intimate and quaint. We meet many different couples. The grounds were very clean which was impressive considering as the foliage. We will definitely be back. And if anyone is considering visiting here I would say look no further this is your place.

  Paradise with relaxation, good food and excellent staff

  Wonderful! Will keep going back. Quiet, food was plentiful and always cooked to perfection. Beaches are always clean. Rooms are clean. The whole resort is is a mini paradise. They offer many activities and have a excellant spa on site

  Wow! Wow! Wow!

  What a beautiful and relaxing place. We had the best holiday that we've ever had. We loved everything about Couples Negril. We loved the water sports team who were helpful and very friendly, particularly Richardo and the Scuba diving team. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the treehouse and felt thoroughly spoilt and special. Every single member of staff at this resort, from the front of house, to gardeners, to the entertainment team went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This was a perfect 'making memories' holiday. The food was lovely with a great selection in several restaurants. The only restaurant we were disappointed with was Otaheti which we can only describe as 'naff'. The staff seemed to enjoy chatting to one another rather than doing their job. In fact, they completely forgot the wine that we ordered with our meal. Rooms a large and clean. The rooms could do with an update (grout coming out between tiles on the floor and the furniture is looking a little tired and worn). Loved the piano bar although the air conditioning was set so cold at times that it was too cold but this wasn't every night. There's lots of wildlife including the beautiful Cattle Egrets and the harmonious tree frogs at night. Despite our few negatives, we would return here at the drop of a hat - we loved it.
