Amazing vacation
Just came back from an amazing trip , 5th in a row and definitely going back in January 2027,stayed in building A ,fully renovated, immaculate room, full ocean view ,room was very clean , check in was fast , always fast also when you know the hotel ,staff were amazing,a shutout to Nelson, Raoul,,and Jack at the pool bar ,and all the other amazing staff at the pool bar , the buffet was great also , the à la carte restaurants never had any issues going in, the new sports bar is amazing plus the food was great ,especially the wings and fries ,all and all I have absolutely nothing negative to say , the entertainment during the day was fun , whoever wondering about the construction noise ,yes there is ,but i didn’t think it was bad at all , can’t wait till all the renovations are done for January 2027 so we can spend another 2 weeks at this beautiful resort,we had 2 beautiful weeks of sunshine in 2026 with a little rain around 6am fir about 15 minutes that’s all ,see you soon Aruba the happy island ❤️

Refusal to Refund Resulted in Higher Cost and Forced Rebooking
Our experience with Apple Vacations was extremely frustrating and financially damaging. After booking, we learned the resort was undergoing extensive renovations and scheduled for a full closure shortly after our stay. The hotel advisory provided by Apple Vacations was vague and did not clearly disclose amenity closures or the operational impact. We independently contacted the hotel and were informed that some amenities, including the spa and fitness center, would be closed during our stay. Additionally, our airline (Spirit) modified our flight schedule and confirmed in writing that we were eligible for a full refund. Despite providing this documentation, Apple Vacations repeatedly refused to refund us to the original form of payment and would only offer travel credit, which we explicitly declined. Apple Vacations also delayed canceling our reservation — even when we agreed to pay cancellation fees — stating they needed airline confirmation that had already been provided. This delay prevented us from booking elsewhere. As a result, we were forced to rebook a different hotel through Apple Vacations at a higher cost. At the time we attempted to cancel, we could have booked the same trip through Expedia for $4,234. Due solely to Apple Vacations’ refusal to process a timely refund, we were forced to rebook at $4,905, costing us $671 more than necessary. This experience involved repeated delays, conflicting information, refusal to honor documented refund eligibility, and direct financial loss caused by Apple Vacations’ handling of the situation. We will not use Apple Vacations again and strongly recommend that others verify refund policies and advisories independently before booking.

Fantastic vacation at the Riu Palace Aruba.
Stayed the week of January 10-17/26 We have been to Aruba numerous times and continue to make the Riu Palace Aruba our choice of hotels. Special mention to Alejandro (Junior) for always taking the time to ensure we have a great stay. The Riu is fortunate to have “Junior” as part of their team. Great job “Junior”!!! Hope to see you again next year with the whole family!

Thanks Dulce and Juan
The staff and the environment was very relaxing. Clean resort, decent food and overall satisfactory experience. One staff member that stood out the most was Dulce she was vibrant and committed to a good time. I wasn't drinking alcohol and she made me feel included by making a delicious non-alcoholic drink. She is very sweet and a great representation of the resort. Thanks Dulce for a great time. Juan was also amazing during check-in. He recommended some great places to eat on the resort and was always friendly.
