Dec 26, 2025Recommend this hotel and service but the beach and the sea are SO SO
We stayed for one week from December 2d to December 9th at the family building beside the water park Some negative moments first Many La-carte restaurants got a delicious food but it is a challenge to register in Queue build up every morning at 7.00 am in front of the main restaurant to register at 8.30 am Unfortunately the sea and the beach is the worst part at the hotel Too many rocks and always muddy water Too many beach vendors bother you offering different stuff like at the flea market Bushes in front of beach chairs block the sea view Ice-cream shop opens only at 4.00 pm and this is not a good time for kids to wait all day Positive: Check in was very fast Beautiful welcome lounge area Hotel has a large, well maintained beautiful territory with the central avenue down to the beach Wild life is amazing Cute animals Our room was very comfortable Shout out to room keeping staff The main buffet restaurant had a variety of food All staff had a great job done to cook delicious meals and serve tables Special Shout out to the bowling team and animation team Mike’s cafeteria is a great places to enjoy in the evening too

Dec 26, 2025Nice Amenities but Room Issue Handling Fell Short
Our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise was a mix of positives and challenges. The resort is large, visually appealing, and offers many pools, restaurants, and activities for families and couples. The grounds are well maintained, and several staff members in the restaurants and common areas were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by an issue with our original room. We booked and paid for a pool-view room, but shortly after arrival we encountered a pest issue. Hotel staff offered pest control and asked us to remain in the same room, but my wife did not feel safe or comfortable doing so. We requested a room change and were moved to a cheaper room category. The property declined to refund the price difference for the downgraded room, which was disappointing given the circumstances. After follow-up, Expedia provided us with a travel credit, which we appreciated, but this resolution came from Expedia rather than the property itself. While the resort has many strengths—including amenities, food options, and overall atmosphere—the handling of this situation was frustrating and left us disappointed. With better accountability and guest support when room issues arise, this could be a much stronger experience. I would recommend the resort for its facilities, but management should improve how guest concerns are resolved.

Five stars specifically for the kids programming - Gregorio in the family lounge was awesome and my kids also had a great time with Ana in the Jelly Club.

I would not recommend this all inclusive. The check in process was slow and inefficient. it took almost an hour to check in and they had to do it by room and not by reservation. so when you book several rooms for family vacation they had to do it one by one. The hotel is rather small compared to other all inclusives. The process to check out beach towels was awful. the process to reserve meal times was terrible, you had to make it within 5 minutes of the online system opening up in the morning or else you couldnt go to any of the reserve only dinner restaurants. the food also was mediocre at best at the reserve only restaurants. Then various shops or restaurants would randomly close so u couldnt even try out food when u wanted to. the hotel is NOT located on a nice beach, it was deep water not kid friendly filled with seaweed. I honestly dont know why this hotel gets good review. the only good thing was the buffet which was convenient for people traveling in groups. Alcoholic drinks were watered down for sure and did not taste good. overall i would never return to this hotel. -Also the personnel were not friendly at all. Also DO NOT book the trafic tours to go to airport and return they are slow and unreliable. it took them an hour wait time for our Private car to pick us up from airport. The cost the same to go by taxi and its faster. Kids club offered a hand full of things. entertaining kids for about 10 min and then they were over it. Overall poor customer service all around. not what u expect at an all inclusive. You go to all inclusive for convenience and customer service and i got none of that.

William was incredible!! Wish the entertainment workers were allowed to go to the disco shows to help get everyone boogying. Wish there was more of a nightlife for partying as the disco was only open til 1am. Other than that the resort was beautiful and looked amazing all decorated for Christmas!!
