A totally deplorable experience. Customer service was non-existent. My frist clue should have been when I tried to contact them using multiple methods and never got a responce. Priceline attemted to contact them on my behalf as well without success. The room had water leak from the air conditioning that started to bring the celing down. We complained to at least 4 differnet people including managment. The best they would do was to move use to a different room. This would have been ok, but we paid extra for a ocean view. Neither of the offered rooms had a ocean view. So we stayed in the room over night. The next evening we were told it was mandatory that we move for safety reasons. just as our chilren arrived, it took nearly two hours of family time. Now they had a room with an ocean view. Fine, The new room had a faucet leak, lights would not turn on, refrigerator did not work. however, it did have an open partially consumed water bottle in the clean mini bar. The sliding glass door was bent and off the track so it ratteled every time the wind blew. Again, we complained and either were told there was nothing they could do or no responce at all. We asked about some type of compensation for the experience and time taken away from our family due to the poor conditions. No compensation offered, again no responce until 2 days befor we left. We had already been there 4 days dealing with this. The offered a cabana for 1 day. Hardly adequate for the poor service and conditions we had to endure. We also witnessed a medical emergency, our family are all trained medical professionals and offered to assist. We were told to leave by the hotel personnel and refused our help. The patient had a poor outcome. The would not recommend even my worst enemy to stay here. I have never had such a bad experience then I had here. If I ever come back to Cancun I will stay anywhere but here. If I could rate this hotel lower than a 1, I would have.

Not Worth It — Avoid Oasis Hotel
I stayed at the Oasis Hotel in Cancun for five days in January, and unfortunately, this was my first and last time at this resort. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was by far the worst part of the trip. Everything was very mediocre at best, and most of it was honestly disgusting. The tacos were especially bad, and none of the restaurants on the property were any better. For an all-inclusive resort, the food quality was unacceptable. It got to the point where we actually left the resort just to eat at a local taco shop, which says a lot. The open bar was also frustrating because the lines were extremely long, and many things closed very early, leaving very few options at night. On top of that, they constantly try to sell you timeshares, so be careful. It’s really not worth the so-called “free breakfast” they offer as an incentive. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay, and I will absolutely never be returning to this establishment.

Not your place if you want to relax
Oasis Cancun was supposed to be our holiday to relax and enjoy the sun and water. We paid Oasis for a shuttle from the airport and they provided very clear instructions to meet driver. No driver showed up according to any of the directions. We waited two hours before finally paying again for a taxi. Oasis took no accountability or offered compensation. So a bad start continued into the next morning to find no lounge chairs around the pool and only a handful on the beach. Guests needed to get up in the dark in order to claim a chair. We watched people battle for and steal chairs throughout the day. So where is one to relax? only in your room or maybe a day bed in a court yard with no view and dirty dip pools. This hotel was a real turn off to want to visit Mexico again. Food in the fine dining and the outdoor patio restaurant was good.

Great, authentic, and the staff are incredible
We read bad reviews the week before we arrived and were very worried. They couldn’t have been FARTHER from the truth. A few things: 1) This resort is older and far less expensive than others, you get what you pay for, 2) The resort is quite nice because of its layout (there are a lot of stairs and uneven ground please watch while walking at all times) making you have to wind around the pool and take in all the little sitting nooks and the secret spot near the waterfall, 3) Download the App prior to your visit and review restaurants open/closed times to help save on planning when you get there, 4) The best breakfast buffet has Ignacio (Tuk Kul) at the omelet station, the Sakura sushi restaurant and our server both were incredible, the show was beyond belief for the value, 5) Rent the beach plot at the Cocoa Beach, you get ALOT for very little, Eloy (our server) was top notch, we rented it for 3 days straight and were at P1 which had the best beach view, 6) The entertainment each night was great, we appreciated that it was authentic and no one tired to sign a bunch of stupid American songs with accents (like every other all-inclusive), 7) Most of the guests were not from the U.S., which we absolutely loved! It felt authentic, fun, and no politics discussions at the pool or beach. 8) The staff is top notch, they know how to have fun and take care of you. Tipping gets you better service (as it does anywhere).

Do not recommend 🫠
Stayed here a few weeks ago, while the resort itself is absolutely stunning, immaculate beach, nice pools - it appears that someone in a CEO level's management skills aren't up to par. The workers that are clearly underpaid and overworked, despite that unfortunate circumstance, they still deliver their best. The resort has 2-3 thousand people on it and holds 20 beach chairs and 40 pool chairs max, where is the logic behind this?? If you like to lay on the ground while vacationing then no prob! Upon entry you will be hit with a $100 US charge before they give you your bracelet and room key - if you're coming from Canada then add another $30-50 to that for exchange rates. Any daytime activities that took place, took place in the adult section, the kids were never considered in any of the events. What makes that even worse is that the kids have to walk through the adult section to get to the beach, so I guess they get to witness all of the foam parties and fun that's going on without them, again where is the logic here? If you're vacationing with children, go elsewhere. If you're looking to party like you're 20 again with loads of adult entertainment then consider this resort.
