The Villa del Palmar was amazing! The staff, the shows, the poolside entertainment, the food, ALL great! Chloe took absolute great care of us! Would recommend to anyone. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Romantic experience
The weather is cool , but warm enough to tan. The evening entertainment was very entertaining. I loved the beach. The staff at villa del palmar were very kind.

Jul 29, 2025DONT STAY AT Villa Del Palmar Beach Cabo
My stay at Villa del Palmar del Cabo was extremely disappointing and frustrating from beginning to end. Check‑in & Maintenance: Check‑in was chaotic due to unresolved booking issues that should have been sorted before our arrival. Inside our villa, a maintenance issue—a bright light staying on for three nights—was completely ignored despite repeated requests. I documented the problem each evening, and only after one maintenance staff member finally intervened and apologized did the issue get resolved. Shockingly, no service ticket had been created in the first place. Housekeeping Issues: Housekeeping repeatedly ignored our “Do Not Disturb” sign and even entered while we were getting ready. On checkout day, they entered multiple times while we were packing, despite being explicitly told to return later. Their actions felt intrusive and disrespectful. Restaurant Staff – One server named Jose showed blatant disrespect to our family—ignoring us during dinner and visibly rolling his eyes and sighed when we appeared at breakfast. His behavior was unprofessional and made us feel like unwelcome inconveniences. Billing Issues at Checkout: Despite being on an all‑inclusive package with a $200 per‑room credit, we were surprised by additional charges for food and laundry. When we questioned these charges, the front desk responded with annoyance rather than transparency or apologies—making us feel like troublemakers for simply verifying what we had already paid for. Lack of Transparency & Online Content: It’s also telling that there are very few up‑to‑date villa or room tour videos available online. The lack of visual transparency raises serious concerns about what the hotel might be trying to hide. It’s clear now why comprehensive walkthroughs are so scarce — they would expose issues with maintenance and the overall guest experience. Overall: Between the poor communication, unprofessional staff behavior, hidden charges, and intrusion on guest comfort and privacy, I cannot recommend Villa del Palmar del Cabo. Guests should not have to push for basic service, feel disrespected, or constantly double-check what they've already paid for. Management urgently needs to make serious improvements in staff training, billing transparency, and overall respect for guests.

Carlos makes the best espresso martinis!
The service was impeccable, the manager Jonathan goes above and beyond!! The food was great, especially the ceviche that you could order at the lunch restaurant! chefs kiss! By far our favorite person was Carlos the bartender in the sports bar!! He made the best espresso martinis, and he was the best!!

A wonderful stay at Villa del Palmar
Such a beautiful resort! No complaints whatsoever. I took notice of how hard all the employees worked to keep the whole resort nice and clean. Everyone was so sweet and kind, making the stay a great experience. For pool side service Nayeli served my family four of the five days of our stay. Nayeli did amazing, super informative and fast with the service. There was a point I stayed behind while my family did an excursion and Nayeli made sure to take great care of me when I was alone, so attentive! The other day we were served by Estevan for pool side service. He was also great and checked in with us whenever he crossed paths with us. Overall I highly recommend Villa del Palmar. The rooms were clean, the employees were all kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious.
